Hey guys! I am here to create another blog  . (Yeah, this is like 4th attempt or something at blogging.) It not that I’m lazy to bring back the old ones or whatever, I just don’t want to be stuck in the past. My game has changed, I am changed, and therefore blog must be fresh for it. :)

      General idea
Here I will focus mainly on poker, zoom poker. I’ve been zooming for a while with little success until I met Manu and booked some coaching sessions with him. He helped me with my game so much, that I could finally beat NL10 and gradually move to NL25.

I was playing for a little while NL25 and I was starting get some results, but then due to some irl problems my mindset became poor and affected my game a lot. Therefore I wasn’t playing confident poker anymore. This lasted about for two weeks in December. However thanks to Christmas coaching promotion I struck with a chance to get free hour coaching from the one and only BrokesoBroke! During that hour he opened my eyes into new level of poker. I realized how much my game needs improvement. Since then I have become more confident about my game, and I try to play more “out of the box”, at least I am leaning towards it. I find this way of play to be more profitable and fun to play, instead of that GTO crap…

      Stakes
I started playing on Stars zoom poker from the very nl2 bottom, 6-max of course. My initial deposit was just $11, and now I am playing NL25 and soon I will be moving to NL50.

      Why blog
I will be blogging just to keep track of my progress, share some thoughts/hands/ideas. I don’t to set any rules of X posts, Y hands, Z hours for the blog. I want to keep it informal. The only goal I have for the year 2014, more of a resolution than a goal, is to reach SN by the end of the year. I don’t know whether I will or not, but that would be very nice achievement for me. Though, I won’t be focusing on it that much, I’ll just grind, work on my game, improve… repeat.

I wish everyone Happy New Year!

      Regards,

      Rihard

I recently switched from FR to 6-max and also looking to move up to 25NL, regular tables though, but I hope to pick up something from your blog. :)

Good luck! I might pop by here and there to see how you're doing.

My 2 cents on your mindset issues: Learn and educate yourself on why you have different reactions and build solutions from there. Simply understanding why a problem occurs goes a long way to fixing it. Fix the cause, not the effect. :)

Thanks Manu for you kind words and advice! :) Always appreciate your involvement.

So guys, I decided to make somewhat quick update on how the year has started for me. The first 2 sessions weren't so great but then I turned things around, just because I can. :f_biggrin:

The graph obviously is gonna get better and better every day/week/month. It's all about dedication. :f_grin:

Now I can officially state that my BR allows me to take shots at NL50 which I will do somewhere later today! Then after a while I will post some sort of update how NL50 shot went, will post some graph and/or interesting hands.

      Grind hard,

      Rihard

      Baller!

Good luck with the shot, you'll need it. Because, y'know, no money in poker, everybody's solid :s_evil:

      Hello ladies and gentlemen!

      NL50
I officially failed my shot at nl50. Ran very bad, whenever I picked up a hand they just hit sets versus me. :D Overall I think I played fine, though I had some hard time adjusting in some spots as I noticed some really light call downs, which confused the shit out of me. :f_confused:

After my failed shot, my mindset malfunctioned a bit, but not really caused by poker tho... some IRL stuff. I didn't play for couple days, then logged back on PokerStars... played some sessions and in two days dropped quite a lot $$$ because I started playing poorly. But I am again turning thing around. :D

      NL25
So I am back to NL25, I need couple more BI's again to make another shot at NL50. Today played couple nice sessions, finally starting to run better.

Playing somewhat non-standard style is so fun, you make people do some weird shit. :D

      (2400 - 625) x 52 = 92300

I need to increase some volume. :f_mad:

*You have to take into account the Jumpstart promo that gave me free 625VPP's

EDIT: Or I have to transition to NL50 soon to get more VPP/hr :f_biggrin: . Then my volume shouldn't be a problem.
