SB (\$48.75)
BB (\$33.55) 35/11/1.9/31 on 409 hands
UTG (\$20.80)
Hero (\$75.45)
CO (\$15.85)
BTN (\$49)

Dealt to Hero 8 8

call, Hero raises to \$2.50, fold, fold, fold, call, fold,

FLOP (\$5.75) 4 8 3

BB bets \$2, Hero raises to \$9, BB calls \$7,

TURN (\$23.75) 4 8 3 K

check, Hero bets \$11, BB calls \$11,

RIVER (\$45.75) 4 8 3 K A

BB bets \$11.05, Hero calls \$11.05,

How much to raise on flop? Then how much to bet on turn?

I want to get called but don't want to give good implied odds to villain's possible draw by commiting myself on the next street to every card. I think it's quite a common situation and i usually have problem to find the right bet/raise size to balance it.

(With my flop raise here, i think i should have just pushed on this turn, cause with \$11 i gave enough odds for the fd to call.)

I think the size of your flop raise was good as it sets up a pot size bet to get him all in on the turn. So on the turn i just put him all in for \$22.05.

Flop is fine
I bet 18\$ on turn. As long as you bet around 2/3 it's fine.

As played you have to call that small bet.

You should shove turn. If he has draw then he´d call and doubt that he´d fold there pair.
