I have noticed that the short stack strategy leaves no real room for check raising or trapping. I have found when you fold and fold and then finally pick up a nice hand everyone respects you too much to play back at you after you raise. Anyone else find this? Opinions? Comments?

Well, when I as a begginer (that lasted pretty pretty long time) I was also thinking that poker is about traping, desceptive and check/raise play, but acctually it isn't. Especially playing with small stack, if you dont play ultra aggressive you lose a lot.
Of course from time to time you would do this traping etc. playing BSS but for begginers and meddium skilled players value play, correct playing draws and agressive TAG game style are much more important ,thus more $$$.
Well try out SSS, its +EV (+$$$), if its to boring to you play BSS.
      Anyway, good luck!
