      my normal river betsize would be $15, but i ran out of time and made a mistake.

      depending on the opponent I think I would play bet/fold as you did or check/call. I prefer bet/fold though.

      It is hard him to call with weaker hands and he shouldn´t bet river unless he has straight. So I think c/f to strong bet is probably the best option.
      b/f is also fine, but I´d make it 10$ or even 8$, since it is really hard to re-raise without straight and that also gives him good odds to call with worse hands.
