I'm quite embarrassed by this but the best thing to do is seek help, i have a major tilting problem. I can grind away and steadily win then i could lose a big hand and all focus goes out the window and i go in hyper tilt mode. My range goes way looser and i'm looking to shove in with the next ace rag i get even though i know i shouldn't. This is a major weakness in my game.

I cut my first ever session (since trying to seriously improve my game and using tracking) short today because of what happened, above is what it looks like.

Here are some of the bigger pots during the session, tese are my biggest losing hands.

No need to be embarrassed at all, I think every player has this problem at one point during their career.

If you haven't already, you should check out the articles in the Psychology section. This article in particular might be a good start:
How can you protect your money from tilt?

There is also some content in our Videos section that may help you out.

Apart from that, the most extensive source on this topic I have ever come across is Jared Tendler's book The Mental Game of Poker. If you're willing to put some time and effort into developing your psychological game, it should help out immensely. I can definitely recommend it.

If your second session is always as bad as you say it is, then imo you should play one longer session and think about why is it like that.
After a good meal blood goes to the stomach rather than brain, that's why it's not recommended to eat too much before exams etc.. I can't focus after a good lunch, so I take a break before continuing playing.

I have had this same problem for few years now ever since i started playing poker, my swings are huge( within the limits i happen to play each time i deposit)... i have made somewhere bethween 500€ to 1000€ intotal deposits witch is a huge amount of money for me since i dont even have food in my fridge most of the times. What come to tilting it self for me its moving up to higher and higher stakes( most of the time playing for the whole roll, last time this happened was last night ;( X( . I FEEL YOUR PAIN

5,000 hands later and i'm down 2/3 of my br. I've been reading everything, watched some videos, reviewed my sessions, looked at my losing hands to see what i've messed up on, posted hands on the forum for evaluation. I've been just consistently playing bad, i'm starting to get on my own nerves lol. I don't mind losing the money, i'm just angry that i haven't been improving my game. I'm a major fish.

The size of the pots i lost were much larger to pots won, some stupid calls that after reviewing i see i didn't need to make which were most of my significant losses, probably around 70-75% of them but i notice my mistakes and go into a new session the next day with that in mind and it just happens again.

Back to the drawing board i think, maybe lay off playing for a bit and study up some more and really look through my sessions again. I'm not giving up.

      The Good:
:diamond: You recognize that you have a problem with tilt.
:diamond: You are willing to read, review, post hands, etc...
:diamond: You recognize that your losses are in large part due to bad play and not blaming it on bad luck or fish sucking out
:diamond: You are asking for help

      The Bad:
:diamond: You might be reading/watching too much - I did this too. If you try to learn too much too quickly, you sabotage yourself because you will actually only be able to really absorb and implement a very small portion of it. Then, in my case, I got frustrated that I was putting all this effort in and still not seeing results - leading me to tilt more. Focus on only improving one area of your game very intensely for a week or two until it is automatic.
:diamond: You haven't really figured out what triggers your tilt and how to recognize it before it becomes a problem so you can address it in play, versus after. (As others have said - get The Mental Game of Poker.)

      Good Luck!
