      Hello pokerstrategy!

It was about time for me to start writing my blog here, since I've been lurking these blogs for a while, and I absolutely love poker community here. :D

I started playing poker 3 years ago, of course home games with friends, and soon enough poker fever took me over and I started playing online also. After some time I've also started to play in local casinos. Beside that I was watching some clips, mostly from TV shows such as Poker after dark, High stakes etc.

The key moment was when I left my home town to study. I was making some serious cash for a poor student in big city in local club, not knowing how big of a fish I was, until I met my future coaches there. Since it's 4.35 am here in Serbia (so dont mind my grammar and spelling errors in already not so good English) I'll finish my short introduction here and I promise i will make the proper one about my basketball and university activities.

For 10 months now I am playing SNG 6max turbos, and in November 2013. I finally switched to Pokerstars - every fish pokerprowannabe dream come true. :D
I used to play on some smaller networks with shitty software and poor traffic, so you can imagine my joy.

November and December I used for getting on software, regs, tendencies, in fewer words to crush big style with supernova at least :D !

      So far so good...

I played 7s until two days ago (not counting some games to check out the the waters and some MTTs for fun) when i finally switched to 15s to play with the big boys :f_cool:
Small sample indeed (around 600) but i'll crush them very soon :D (fish on a heater syndrome :f_mad: )
Anyway hope someone bored enough will stumble upon this blog, but even if no one does i reckon it'll help my improvement overall; to keep tracks, post interesting hands, other random stuff i find interesting etc.

It took me almost half an hour to write this much so see you soon and good night!

Time for update and some mini challenges.

I moved up exclusively to 15s as I said, and I am about breakeven on 1700 games, but to me it really looked like roller coaster after cozy period spent playing 7s . Basically I think that I even now can beat 15s without table selection. I worked a lot with my coach, lot of hhr and sweat sessions, found places for improvement and he also thinks that I can already beat this limit. Maybe the best thing we did was playing super reg infested 30s, 60s and 100s together (analyzing top regs, working on some advanced ICM and postflop plays), so I became aware of differences that higher limits bring, and more imported, I eased the pressure of playing the higher limit.

As I forgot to mention in my last blog, beside working on my own game and grinding, I also have 3 students microgrinders that I work with, so I get some variance free money for that, and working with them helps me with my own game.

After really tough week I came up with some mini challenges for following week, that will help me to motivate myself to work even harder:

:club: Play 1240 games until Friday afternoon (mostly 15s, maybe some 30s late in night when those games are softer)
:club: Work 5 hours on my game
:club:D o 3 sessions with my students (1 hour each)
:club: Try to stay away from results (do not check EV line or cashier, do not search sharkscope, etc...) and do the best to focus only on my game. I hope that this will be good mental training
 Go back to my hometown for the weekend, since I haven't seen my family and friends for almost a month

Right now I need 70.536.86 VPPs for reaching supernova. If I succeed in this mini challenge I will collect at least 7365 VPPs, and then I will set time frame for reaching my first supernova.

Good luck at the tables and good night to everyone! :)

      Hello everyone again!

I am not going to find any excuses for not writing so long, I will just say that I was too lazy, but I am here again and from now on i will update my blog regularly. I promise that :)

Well lot of things have changed since I wrote last time:

      -LIFE THINGS:
 I am not basketball referee anymore!!! I really need time to get used to it, because I like basketball so much and I enjoyed being part of that organization but I just couldn't find time for everything. Speaking of the basketball, I have to say that I am really proud of our National team and silver medal from World cup!
 I am not anymore in Nis with my coach. I moved back to my hometown Krusevac couple a months ago and because of some private things I don't know when I will be able to get back and return to our poker office.
 After I reached Supernova i was at the seaside. I went to Greece on the island Kefalonia. I had really great time, and to be honest it was really nice not staring at the cards for 10 days :D

      -POKER:
:club: I reached Supernova status on Pokerstars!!! :D I managed to do that on August 9th and I am really happy for it. Since I am playing poker seriously for not more than year and a half, I am really proud of this achievement. Now it's much more easy when you have solid rakeback.
:club: Beside Supernova, I managed to get to the top of some leaderboards (count and profit) wich is really cool because i know that I can be in the top and swim with other low stakes sharks. :)
:club: I bought laptop, so I dont have to worry anymore about potential electricity problems. Beside that i took the SSD, so now my PC works faster and i have no problems when I turn on HM2, Table ninja, lot of tables and other programs. These days I will take note caddy and new special HUD, so I hope it will bring me some more edge.
:club: I am still on 15s, but now I am feeling much more better on this limit. On around 14500 games so far I have 2.3% ROI, and my game really changed since starting to grind 15s in March. For about 2 months (March until May) I had breaking even period with no rakeback and that was a bit stressing for me, but now everything is OK. :) I also enter some 30s late in the evenings and during the weekend when I think they are softer than usually, but I think that I am not ready to beat this limit. I have a really small sample but I saw that regs are stronger there, so if I want to beat them, I will need to work harder.
:club: As i said I am now in my hometown and I am grinding alone. Its the huge difference than grinding in the office with my coach and other fellas. When I am at home I have problem to grind enough and to work on my game. But i still have great cooperation with my coach! We have lot of sessions, we work together with our students and we are having sweats and theory discussions almost every day.
:club: Our stable expands from day to day!!! We have about 10 new students, and some of them are already proven grinders and play 7$ limit. And whats even more important, now we have serious plan how to make and manage the huge stable. Right now we are making material for beginners who are playing 1.5$ and 3.5$ 6max turbo SNGs. It will contain lot of theory, examples from games and videos that will be able for our students.
After we finish this, we are starting to make coaching material for higher limits, so when it is all done we will be able to take even more students who will learn fast and move up limits quicker. I am really satisfied how the stable stuff is going on, and I have no doubt that we are going to realize our plan in near future, because we are taking really serious approach. I also have to say that I am really happy that I prolonged deal with my coach because alone I wont be able to do all this on that high level.

That is all for now. I am about to start my grind session and soon enough I will write a new update where I will put my plans and challenges for the end of the month and year. Gl everyone! :)

Here is my update as i promised :)

This month I had a really good run, but I am behind with my volume (had two huge celebrations, went to Nis on couple of days and took my PC to the service for upgrading) I managed to play only 1812 SNGs so far this month, but I really worked a lot with all of my students and I also spent lot of time on making education material for beginners with Gerovit.

So here is a mini challenge for the end of the month:
:spade: Play 900 more games starting today.
:spade: Work 3 hours with my students.
:spade: Spend 4 hours working with Georovit, both our coaching sessions and working on the beginners stuff. I just want to mention that one of the huge c/s stables offered us to merge with them, so maybe there will be some really good news soon. :)

Situation at the end of this year depends only on me. If I work on my game harder I will be able to start mixing 15s and 30s soon, and probably play 30s exclusively in December. I know that games are then much more reginfested, but will do my best. I don't want again to have long adjusting period, lot of swings etc...

Challenge for the end of the year:
:spade: Reach 200kVPP minimum, 113.935 so far. With playing only 15s ti wont be possible, but with some 30s it is doable.
:spade: Play at least 4k games per month (160 per day with 5 days off).
:spade: Continue working with my students and prepare all of them to play 7s at least at the end of the year, so they can start their SN chase from January.
:spade: Finish education material for micro and low stakes grinders with Gerovit.
:spade: Get more students that will chase SN with us next year.

That is all for this update. Gl everyone! :)

This was really stressful end of month!

I had a lot of problems with my internet connection. Internet provider was doing some repairs in part of town where I live, so my connection was or very poor or I didn't have it at all. Couple of sessions had to interrupt because I was forced to switch to my backup internet which is also very poor and I use it only for emergency stuffs like this one. I phoned my internet provider this morning and they said that from now on everything should be OK. However, I am glad that I managed to play 626 games since my last update.

I worked 2 hours with my students (one session is postponed for tonight because one student wasn't able to work last night) and I managed to work for about 5 hours with Gerovit which is really cool considering the fact that we don't do sessions during the weekend because of golden time for grind. :)

Last night, for a first time, I played only regular speed SNGs session. I doubled up number of tables I play to see if it's possible to rake the same or even more with this type of games. It will be possible when I get used to playing more tables and when I adjust my game a bit, because I noticed some different tendencies at these games. I think that these games are softer - much less reginfested and much more ICM mistakes from regs (i noticed some really wide calls and raise/calls that you rarely can see on turbos) So this could be a nice option for November and December when all the games would probably be too much reginfested.

I am about to start my first October session, so 4000 games this month journey is about to begin! Gl to everyone! :)

First day of October wasn't bad at all!

      Games played: 150
      Profit: 175
      VPPs collected: 902

I also worked 1 hour session with my students and I am happy with their progress. They just need to grind more and soon they will move up their limits.

Now going to find some good relaxing movie and fall asleep. so gl everyone and good night! :)
