      Hi everybody!
I am Andy from Ukraine. I've been playing poker for a couple of years and now I want to make it serious, cause I don't want to waste time without making money.

I play a lot of live cash games and all kinds of games online.
Now I want to choose one game and try to master it to make some profit, so obviously I need your help guys.

I've heard that SnG's are the right place to start from, so now I am playing 1,5$ 6 max turbos and my bankroll is 37.29$

It will be great if you give me some tips how to start and what are the most common mistakes.

Looking forward to hear from you!

      Hey Andy,

      Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :)

The most common mistake new SnG players make is to play too many hands and to play weakly. It is always best practice to play strong hands fast by raising pre flop and taking the initiative.

Often by doing this, a simple post flop continuation bet will force folds from everyone unless they have caught a slice of the flop.

If you click the graphic at the bottom of my post, you'll be taken to our recently revamped strategy section where you'll be able to see all our strategy articles and what status you need to have to access them.

Speaking of status, check out our Status & Points system.

The best way to upgrade to at least lifetime bronze status is to take advantage of one of our free poker money offers.

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask.

      Happy Grinding

      Laz

Played today about 30 6-max turbos and realized that it's to tough for me, too much depends on luck. Right now I still have 25$, so will focus on 1.5$ Fifty50, cause I think I am really good in those. Looking forward to play Micro Millions, already won ticket to #1.

      Good luck everybody!

Still suffering small bankroll, played a lot of 1.50$ Fifty50, was down to 0.98$.
Changed to 0.01$/0.02$ Cash, won ticket to MicroMillions knockout tournament, won some money there + got lucky at the cash table (mine four of a kind against full house).
Bankroll 6.78$, 141 FPP, 95 VPP till Chrome Star.

Will play MicroMillion #46 11$, won ticket yesterday.
      Good luck everybody.

      Hey Andy,

Keep on fighting because you never know what may happen. One of our staff finished 2nd in a MM $11 yesterday for over 5k, so maybe it's your turn.

      Good luck
