      Hi guys!

I'm curious, does anyone know why the traffic at NL10 Speed at iPoker is that bad? There are alot of players at NL5, NL20 and NL50 all day, but at NL10 you usually can't find anyone untill the afternoon. It's really weird and annoying.

      Thanks!

      Hey Alleen86,

I was shaking my head in disbelief when I saw it the other day. There was 187 at NL5, 80 at NL20 and between 1 and 5 at NL10 ?(

      I don't get it either.

Yeah, really doesn't make any sense and I wonder if there is a logical explanation for this..

That's pretty much a mistery for everyone, as NL10 is usually a pretty popular stake..

Regs take loose shots at NL20 because the rake at NL10 is terrible (6.7% ) and the field is not as soft as at NL5.

Man, that is crazy. Might have to switch to a different network once I've cleared my FDB and got the cash to try NL10

I think that this is a good factor because this way there is twice as many fish on nl20.

true, but also means you need to spend way longer at NL5 to be able to comply with BRM, and you don't get the gradual step up from 5 --> 10 --> 20

Playing with 4 times the stakes is always going to be a bit more nerve-wracking than just double each time

For me, my Ipoker bankroll is in USD, I have approx $200 in it (started with $100 a week ago!)

To be playing NL20 EUR, I need a BR of $550 at the least! NL10 EUR requires about half that, or $276.

Looking at it from a BI POV - I need to make roughly 50 BI from where I am to shoot at NL20

With a playable NL10 - I need to make 11 BI at NL5, and 20 BI at NL10 from my current position to shoot NL20

That is a total of 31 BI vs 50 BI

So maybe there are more fish at NL20, but it would take a lot longer to reach a stage to shoot for it

NL10 bots are broken = traffic dies
