      Hey everyone!
I just decided to create a blog here, in english community. Actually i'm russian but one of the reason i'm posting here is to practice my english a bit :) Also i really want to find some foreign friends! ;)

      About me:
-21 year old student from Russia.
-playing poker since april of this year
-playing NL50 SH now, and sometimes nl200 sss

      My goals:
-the nearest goal is to read all PS strategyes that allowed in russian community.I allready almost converted it in pdf. Also i'm reading a Harrington's book now. And i understand how bad i'm in poker now.
-to grow up to NL100 SH
-withdrawal for about $1000 to the january 2009 COMPLETED
-withdrawal $7000 to the march of 2009
-and ofcourse to become a black member :) I know this way can take even few years but i think there is nothing imposible.

      Bankroll
      FTP: $750
      PS: $350

Good luck with that thonyfive. Becoming blackmember is something I think we would all like. But making 500k points is quite a jurney.

I hope you can make it to NL100 in no time. :)

      Cheers,

      ty!
      i'm playing BSS.
as far as i know sss is only for FR tables. i play SH.
Actually when i talk about my bankroll i prefer not to divide it in separate groups. I just have reserve in Stars, but i could transfer it in any time so i could say that i have $1.1k bankroll and i guess it's enough :)
Once i had $2.5k but than i got some unlucky days and some bad attempts to jump to NL100 so i decreased my bankroll cause of that events. And if something will go wrong, i'll go down for NL25 only when i'll have 25 stacks of that limit. Cause i feel myself confidence on nl50.

Yeah man, good luck! Maybe your blog will provide the inspiration some of us need to become black members as well.

Btw: did you start with the $50 free bankroll or did you deposit? How long did it take to get to the level you're currently at?

      Cheers

      today's sessions

i have not much time now, that's why i play really small. only got 200 points on ftp for iron man.
Also as you see on picture i tried a little bit nl100 sh. it was sccessful and i got +17 bucks on that limit :) Just read Durrr interview and he said that it's a good idea to try upper limits sometimes.

      And one interesting hand:

      $0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
      FullTiltPoker
      6 players
      Converted at weaktight.com

      Stacks:
      UTG WillEatYourKids ($50.00)
      UTG 1 Lakers6 ($49.25)
      CO yamchae ($70.30)
      BTN Hero ($80.30)
      SB OverDraftKing ($50.00)
      BB w80487 ($23.20)

      Pre-flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is BTN Q:spade: Q:heart:
1 fold, Lakers6 raises to $1.75, yamchae raises to $6, Hero raises to $17, 2 folds, Lakers6 folds, yamchae calls $11

      Flop: 8:spade: 3:heart: 3:spade: ($36.50, 2 players)
yamchae checks, Hero bets $25, yamchae folds

      Final Pot: $36.50

      Hero wins $59.70 ( won $17.70 )
      Lakers6 lost -$1.75
      yamchae lost -$17.00

first raiser was really tight but second one has too big percentage of preflop 3bets. something like 15-18%. so i decided to do this trick. i don't know what hand he called me. Most probably it's AK. or JJ. but i don't really see perspectve in this call. So he did a mistake :)

I dont like the idea about trying higher limits without appropriate bankroll no matter if it was said by durrr or anyone else.. It's little gambling even you are good enough for NL100, because variance is something you can't beat.

The other thing: Why do you play 15 mins sessions??? It's not wise to do, because you're losing the chance to get some reads, tables image etc. It's similar to bet few times on roullete: you try and wish to win and leaving either happy or sad. I'm not saying you're gambling, it's just my personal experience with short sessions ;)

Anyway, nice to see you're running well :)

      Good luck!

ok, it's gambling, but, why not? :) cause if you have a chance you can catch this limit on earlier. And this fifteen minuts sessions occured cause i wanted to play but have been diverted by some events. Also, as you see it's nl10 there. sometimes i play there heads up. On ftp heads up starts only from nl50. and sometimes when you sit on empty table you could play heads up with somebody and it could be really profitable :) And on NL100 i played cause there was a fish i was sitting with and when he left, i left too.
Anyway, big thnx for comment! :)
