      $300 - $10K LINK

      Hi guys!

The unreal thing happend to me, I won some online luckbox competition on Pokerlistings, which is a trip to WSOP worth $4500 that 888poker gives away! I know it's pretty sick and I still can't belive it.

      The trip includes:
      6 nights at Palazzo
$1500 buy in to event #60 NLH
$1500 to pay for the flight
And some 888 poker stuff & events!

Now this is so sick! I have ran bad quite some while know and was on a poker break when I got the news that I had won this trip which, can't really get better :D . I have had some online success before so I'm not a total fish but, my confident in poker is not as high as it could have been. I have never played live poker before which is not that great, hopefully I get the chanse to play abit at Casino Cosmopol in Sweden before I go, just to get an idea how it is before I play with the big boys in Vegas.

I will stay in USA for a total of 2 weeks and I will document my journey from where I am now (the preperation) to, hopefully even after WSOP! Hopefully lot's of pics aswell!

Here is the link where you can read that I won:
      http://www.pokerlistings.com/competition-of-the-month-winner-may-2014
      (no advertising PS, just fact)

Now guys! I want your help! How can I prepare? Help me! I have not even played live, I need to learn how to have my stack, how to be able to count out fast etc, hit me with your best tips now! Let's ship it PS community!!!

a couple of things i can think of now:
-take a hoodie or two with you, as it's freezing cold in most poker rooms, and really freaking hot outside, especially in july.
-that being said, always take sunscreen with you and don't forget to use it while you're drunk at pool parties.
-the buffets are great for lunch in most hotels, however if you go at peak hours there's going to be a huge line - also the prices go up for dinner time, which is a poker player's breakfast/lunch time from my experience ;p
-i recommend you get a car at least once and visit downtown LV, which is pretty interesting and also drive to Town Square for lots of shops and stuff.
-while you're there getting stuff at Whole Foods is probably a good idea, to save some money and get supplies for the poker room. The food place at the Rio is not great and during breaks there's just too many people there. That being said, Whole Foods stuff is great if you don't want to come back fat from the US...
-When it comes to poker rooms, i'd recommend checking out which one feels best for you, the best times to play are probably around 11-2am. During weekends drunk fish come over from clubs (which tend to be pretty close to the casinos, for example in Tao at the Venetian) so it might be worth it to sit much longer.
-In my opinion the worst game to play (unless it's with drunk people during weekends and you're prepared for it) is 1 / 2 because it's mostly insane people with crazy bet sizing and amazing lucky streaks. You can easily just play short stack at 2 / 5.
-If you want to get the full experience i recommend playing sngs at the Rio and enjoying the atmosphere the rest of the time, railing for the big guns etc :) However prepare for the fact that you'll need a cab to get there every time.
-Quite frankly - walking around LV, is a bad idea.

I could go on and on, but if you have a question just ask here ;)

Too hot, overcrowded, take my word for it. There's a reason why they always drive a car through the Strip in the movies ;)

Yeah definitely, the place also looks pretty cool. http://www.mytownsquarelasvegas.com/shopping-dining-a-entertainment/shops.html

When it comes to shopping, Caesars has a big shopping mall, which is quite nice. The Venetian/Palazzo also do, however the stuff there is pretty expensive.

While I'm at it, when it comes to those malls, my favourite spots for food would be Sushi Samba at the Venetian and this everything-chocolate place (great for >1000kcal breakfasts) at the beginning of the shops at Caesars.

      Hi folks!

I have been in Vegas for like 10h now, and it's awesome! I have only slept like 6h in a total of 60h now, so I wont do a real update with pics and stuff, just checking in! I have a few pics on Instagram @ozziwar tho!

I went to Mirage to try my first live tourney, was so easy, only 15min blinds so got it on bad with 66 vs 1010 at the final table but nothing to do, only a $60 tourney but not cash, was about 50 entries and I got 7th. Anyway, It was easier then a $1 MTT online, more like a freeroll.

Time to sleep! checking in at Palazzo tomorrow and got some welcome drinks and stuff wth 888 crew so that will be fun! And probably more poker before the WSOP event in 2 days! (for me)

      Hi guys!

Today I tried some 1/3 cash game at The Mirage. It was pretty soft and I bought in with $150 and peaked $450 after just 30min, but left 2h later with $237, still happy tho since it was my first cash game live!

Also I have now checked in to my room at The Palazzo! It's pretty amazing, take a look for yourself from my review I just recorded.

I went by the 888 poker room to pick up my live kit and to say hi aswell! Im going to a bigger 888 poker welcome party with drinks and stuff in 30min so that will be very fun! :)

      Also!!!

888poker is hosting a instagram contest and the winner will win some pretty amazing prices from their 888 shop. Pretty much all you have to do is to take a few pic from something awesome, uncommon awesomeness in Vegas! Ideas please!

      Have a great night folks!

Short update, I will write a longer one once I get the time.

Made it to Day 2 with a 46k stack, we are like 20 away from the money and I got above avg. A few interesting hands ill take up once I get time, lots of stuff to do! played the WSOP for like 13h yesterday and took like 15h in total with going to RIO, get back etc.
