      Hi guys. My name is Victor, I study mathematics at University of Southern Denmark. I've been playing poker recreationally for a couple of years, but after finding Gripsed youtube channel I thought to myself that playing poker is what I want to do. I've won a couple of tournaments, but nothing big.
      I'm starting my journey with a bankroll of around $300, which should be enough, given I keep a good bankroll management (!)

      I've encouraged myself to write a daily (only on weekdays) blog to keep track of my progress while getting feedback (none of us are perfect!) so I can be the player I want to be. To me, nothing would be more sweet than to make a living of the game I've grown to love so much, so that would be the long term goal (maybe in a year or two, no rush).
      Anyway, that's my short introduction. I'm thinking about posting hands and progress once or twice a day after the sessions. I'll just have to figure out how to export hands and so on, so bear with me a little while ;)

      Hoping to get the feedback I crave so I can get stacking :D

      Nice to see other Scandinavians here (Denmark is counted to Scandinavia right?). :)

      Remember that if you play MTT or MTT SnG, they are high variance games and you will need at least 100-200 BI to play those safely. Gl! :f_cool:

      I was playing MTTs before, but have gone over to play more cash games. I've found that I can build a bankroll much faster that way.
      I play mostly on PokerStars, but sometimes on PartyPoker as well. My main game is NLHE, but I'd like to be better at PLO (though my focus lies on NLHE at the moment).

      I'm 21. Right now I'm playing a mix of NL5 and NL10. But sometimes I play in the 4.5 dollar 180 man SnG. Great idea with the Skype group. Are you thinking strategy discussion or something like that? You can add me on Skype; farlige-john.

      I've decided to post my poker related goals for this year:
      Daily goals:
      [] Earn at least 100 VPP on PS
      [] Play at least 2500 hands a day (not including MTT)
      [] Take breaks at least once an hour
      [] Drink 2,5 liter of water everyday (important to stay hydrated)
      [] Post on this blog with hands and thoughts

      Monthly goals:
      [] Get GoldStar on PS
      [] Watch one complete MTT review from Gripsed
      [] Read a book on poker
      [] Play 75000 hands (not including MTT)

      Yearly goals:
      [] Become a better player overall (PLO and Razz for instance)
      [] Make enough money to take a long vacation in the winter :D
      [] Keep GoldStar (if achieved)

      That should be it :)

      Anyway, here's a hand I played yesterday.

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BU = ($22.06)
      SB = ($12.57)
      BB = ($9.94)
      UTG1 (Hero) = ($10.05)
      UTG2 = ($18.11)
      MP1 = ($10.00)
      MP2 = ($4.41)
      MP3 = ($11.49)
      CO = ($10.70)

      Preflop: Hero is UTG1 with K :heart: , K :club: .
      Hero raises to $0.30, UTG2 calls $0.30, 6 folds, BB calls $0.20.

      Flop: ($0.95) 4 :club: , K :diamond: , 4 :diamond: (3 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks, UTG2 checks.

      Turn: ($0.95) J :diamond: (3 players)
      BB checks, Hero bets $0.40, UTG2 calls $0.40, BB folds.

      River: ($1.75) J :heart: (2 players)
      Hero checks, UTG2 bets $2.10, Hero raises to $6.50, UTG2 calls $4.40.

      Final Pot: $14.75.
      Hero shows a full-house, kings full of jacks(K K).
      UTG2 shows a full-house, jacks full of fours(J Q).

      Hero wins with a full-house, kings full of jacks(K K).
      I'm pretty happy about the way I played this hand. If I C-bet on the flop I won't get any action from much of his range (unless he is a bluffing machine which I know he isn't). Tell me what you think!

      Bet turn bigger, jam river vs his overbet.
