      unknown villain.

I betted small on river to get a call of two pair, trips etc, but to fold against a raise too, because there was a possible FH. was I too cautious? I feel i made a big mistake folding here, he could have a busted draw, two pair, depending on his donkness.

weird hand. i don't think his river push makes sense with any hand. J8 should raise turn. set/boat should raise flop. same for two pair/boat. trips should flat call. with that in mind, folding sucks, so i think i'd go C/C instead of blockbet/fold.

rightly or wrongly I'm calling here, if he's hit a FH then not much you can do. Many players I face I feel would make this move on a busted flush or even a6, truthfully i'm betting at least 3/4 pot on river. If I'm beat then . . . . but I'm ahead I feel more often

Like Kruppe say's his play makes no sense !

yes it doesnt, but donks playing make no sense. they slowplay set and two pair on drawy board on a multiway pot, so I never know... and they usually just call flopo andturn and raise or overbet river

      Hummm... i'd c/call.
If you decide to blockbet, you CAN'T call his reraise - otherwise you don"t make a blockbet -.

By checking you induce-bluff of a missed flushdraw -> you make value from these hands. I think this makes c/call EV+.

Giving pot odds: you should call.
Sometimes he has here busted flushdraw, sometimes 6, no need to make hero laydowns against unknowns.
