      Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      MP2 ($6.25)
      CO ($1.65)
      Button ($12.60)
      BB ($7.05)
      Hero (UTG) ($1.85)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6, 9
      1 fold, MP2 calls $0.10, CO calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero checks

      Flop: ($0.35) 9, 4, 2 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets $0.20, Hero folds, 1 fold

      Total pot: $0.35 | Rake: $0

I am BB here, there was a mistake by the hand converter.

Top pair, top kicker in this case? Or should I indeed have folded?

First of all what do you mean by top-kicker? You just have top pair with a 6 kicker which is not the best hand.

With just one opponent on the flop, it would have made sense to bet. Since there are more opponents, check/fold is your best option.

The CO bet looks like a bluff here, but it doesn't make sense to risk your chips with such a weak hand.

I C/F in this spot with no reads.

I suggest Betting with J kicker or higher as it says in the basic articles somewhere.
