Okay, after reaching Silver status here in PS I decided to create my own poker blog :) .
I'll post my charts every once in a while, some interesting hands (or terrible bad beats :D ), set short and long term goals, etc...

For a start I'll post my overall charts/summary:

      (From 29/10/2008 to 16/11 /2008)

I started to save my hands approximately one month after I started playing (silly me), so those are not real "overall", but close enough :) .
As you might notice I don't play that much, rarely more than 2 hours/day, not only because I suffer from lack of time (damn college) but also because I tend to get a little stressed out after more than 150 hands in a row.
My current BR: $108.00; Bonus Cleared: $35 of $50.

      Some short term goals:

        Keep the Silver status;
        Read all the Silver Strategy Articles related to NL;
        Play at least 150 hands per day;
        Clear the $15 missing bonus until the end of the week;
        Move up to the NL25 tables in one month;

And now, the stressful/stupid moment of the day:

      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      BB:
      $3.65
      Hero:
      $3.50
      CO:
      $17.45

      0.05/0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.62 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A:diamond: , A:club:
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 2 folds, CO calls $0.40, 2 folds, BB calls $0.30.

      Flop: ($1.25) T:diamond: , J:spade: , Q:club: (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.20, CO raises to $2.40, BB folds, Hero raises to $3.10 (All-In), CO calls $0.70.

      Turn: ($7.45) Q:heart:
      River: ($7.45) 7:club: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $7.45

      Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows two pairs, aces and queens (Ad Ac)
CO shows a straight, king high (Kc 9c)

CO wins with a straight, king high (Kc 9c)

I had already unchecked to auto-post blinds and would leave soon, when I saw the AA I couldn't believe my luck, I could duplicate the $3.50! I though he might have KQ or QJ, but when I saw K9 I felt really sick, he had hit a straight in the flop and I played horribly. Oh well, rebuy $2 and keep playing. But, in the next hand...

      WHAT? I don't believe this! :D

      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      BU:
      $2.55

      0.05/0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.62 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

      Preflop: Hero is UTG1 with A:diamond: , A:club:
Hero raises to $0.40, 5 folds, BU raises to $1.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.00 (All-In), BU calls $1.00.

      Flop: ($4.15) 4:heart: , K:diamond: , 3:club:
      Turn: ($4.15) 6:spade:
      River: ($4.15) J:heart: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $4.15

      Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a pair of aces (Ad Ac)
BU shows a pair of nines (9h 9d)

Hero wins with a pair of aces (Ad Ac)

I just wish it was the other way round (win when I had $3.50 and lose with the $2.00  ).

      Hi.

Today was absolute disaster. Here are the charts:

      Overall loss: $7.95 :( .

I sure made some bad decisions but... everytime I saw the flop with AK,AQ,AJ, 95% of the times no damn A,K,Q or J would show, and when they did, things like this would happen  :

      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      BB:
      $3.10
      MP1:
      $8.30
      Hero:
      $2.00

      0.05/0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.62 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with A:club: , K:club:
      MP1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, 2 folds, BB calls $0.40, MP1 calls $0.40.

      Flop: ($1.55) 2:club: , Q:heart: , A:heart: (3 players)
      BB bets $0.40, MP1 calls $0.40, Hero raises to $1.50 (All-In), BB calls $1.10, MP1 folds.

      Turn: ($4.95) Q:club:
      River: ($4.95) T:heart: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $4.95

      Results follow:
Hero shows two pairs, aces and queens (Ac Kc)
BB shows a flush, ace high (Kh 6h)
BB wins with a flush, ace high (Kh 6h)

      *sigh*

Another example of my day, fortunately no one with a bad hand called or I'd probably would have lost another pot :D :

      Known players:
      Position:
      Stack
      SB:
      $1.05
      MP1:
      $2.35
      Hero:
      $1.85

Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.62 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with K:club: , A:spade:
2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.40, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.85 (All-In), BU folds, SB calls $1.00, 2 folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back..

      Flop: ($2.60) 2:club: , 8:club: , 6:diamond:
      Turn: ($2.60) 4:spade:
      River: ($2.60) 8:spade: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $2.60

      Results follow:
Hero shows a pair of eights (Kc As)
SB shows a pair of eights (Qs Ac)

Hero wins with a pair of eights (Kc As)

I'll look at some of my hands and probably post them on the Sample Hand forum later...Gah, still a bit in shock. But tomorrow is a new day, must keep relaxed and think positive :) .

Anyway, today I read some articles, and tomorrow I'll probably not play. I've been (or should be...) busy with school and I don't want to think about this apparent downswing :( .

Downswing? This is short-term variance and you should cope with it when playing SSS as your edge is at most 65/35 ;)

Keep reviewing your plays, play up to 6 if you feel comfortable and you will reach up the limits. However rake at Nl10 FullTilt is HIGH so switch to Nl25 to get some value back into your roll

      cheers Gerv

      wow Downswing?!? lol

After my 41BI downswing Sep - Oct and after the 21 BI on NL100 in 4k hands this is looks very ugly.

I just can understand how can you take this bullshit

      :D

Just joking. Don't look on the results. Improve your game and the BIG money will come ;)

      Best regards,
