      Hi all.
Am bk into the poker world after a long stint away. I am a loser player in the past with pure intentions. In the past i go into this automatic mode and dont think about anything but i know av got the ability to become a decent player an this site is the way to an so bloody gd its amazing haha.

As i say i am bk, an i am going right bk to the absolute beginning i am bk on the basic articles. Value, pot control and protection. So i am trying for the ground up.

I know to watch the videos an read all the articles but how would any of you advice me on getting a real edge real quick. The last few days i have been playing nl5 with a win rate of 25BB ish. 1500 hands. Am sure that can disappear in a flash cos i can go mad trying to win my koney bk when i lose so av set some rules for myself. I have pokertracker 4, not using stats cos in the past they made me a mad man not understanding how to use them properly so am going to wait till i pass the basics an master them.

So if i master the fiest few articles an work my way up. I have watched crushing nl50 a few times. Av watched them again now an the 4th vid, an am staying there till i get a few more hands under my belt. So what would u guys advice? I really want some sort of program or structure i can work by, the first time i found this site i just read everything like a mad man an it was way too much for a learner to learn, silver made my plays all wrong because i forgot about the basics at the time. Thats gonna change this time. This time i am serious and i will become a serious winning player. I want to see no more of the micro stakes ever again!!! I wanna crush the low stakes an become gd on the mid stakes. I wish there was truth behind this. So any advice for a starter. I have no money other than the $100 in my account now after that i dont want to invest another nonpoker penny.
What would your advice be then? When i am playing this game i live breath an eat poker! But i was always breaking even in thr past an then tilting money away. So i would be ok for a while an then go crazy. But i am learning its not a game of big fast hands all the time... its a grind. Cheers guys.

      Books read....
      Harrington 1, 2 & 3
      Theory of poker
      The little green book
Few others here an there. But cant remember anything from these its been almost 5 years since i played. But i go my local casino the other week, crushed them while drunk an now the spark is back an i need to get my head bk into the game!!!

Btw... is poker still as popular? Or have things quitened down? Or is that just cos my mind has been other places?

Cheers guys. Didnt mean to ramble on like this, was only meant to be a short one haha.

      Hey dragonste,

In my opinion, our articles and videos are enough to be a winning player, assuming that you also work on your game by analysing your hands.

Of course books are good addendum to improving your poker skill, so if you're looking for a new titles to read then you should check out our books offer. ;)
