      Hi soccek,

I moved this thread to the Beginners' Questions forum for you. You'll probably get a better answer over here.

Poker is often accurately described as a game that is easy to learn, but hard to master. On the bright side, most players at the lowest limits are not very good, and even though the games got a little tougher in recent years, it shouldn't be too hard to beat them using simple no-nonsense ABC poker.

You should already be on a pretty good way at the lowest limits available after reading and understanding the first few basic articles from our No Limit section. Of course, we also have plenty of material for you that enables you to beat the higher stakes, but this stuff is a little more involved.

Maybe you'd also be interested in SNGs. These games may be a little easier to learn, but there is also more variance involved.

I assume you are already familiar with the rules, but if you aren't, this article should help you out. Also take a look at our other articles on Poker Basics.

If you need help with anything in specific, don't hesitate to ask.
