Welcome to my blog. My name is Christian I am a 27 year old Austrian currently living in Cavite (Philippines, close to Manila).
Like many others in the community I use new year to start over and start a blog to take everything more serious and finally become a solid winning player.
To start the blog I will start with my background regarding poker and what lead to the idea of starting this blog, it’s perhaps boring for most of you to read, but I think that it’s sometimes also good to reflect so it might help me to note the mistakes I’ve made in the past to avoid them in the future.

I also plan to stream my poker sessions using twitch, so here is the link to my channel, as well as to my YouTube channel where all videos should be archived by default:

      Live Streams & Updates:

since I will use this channel also for my trading blog and some other things there won't only be poker videos/streams to enjoy

      My (Poker) Background

2010 – In autumn 2010 I played poker for the first time. That time a friend mentioned the FREE50 from PokerStrategy so I signed up and got them on PartyPoker if I’m not mistaken (long time ago ^^).
I started playing micro stakes and tried to stick to the SSS but due to lack of motivation I ended up gambling it away, depositing and re-depositing…
In that time I also had some major issues in my private live resulting in a “depression”. To avoid dealing with those issues and my girlfriend who was constantly busting my balls about them I started to visit two cardrooms nearby on daily basis and played some MTT/SNG and cash game there. Needless to say, even though I had some tournament cashes (NLH only buyins up to 50 € with up to 50 players) and winning sessions at the cash game tables (NLH, PLO, Crazy Pineapple) I was pretty much the fish at the table. There were few players worse than me, but I didn’t mind because I didn’t know better, and didn’t bother to learn it on PS or anywhere.
Until the end of 2010 I lost a small five digit euro sum.
Maxim - the dog of my girlfriend back then

2011 – Since my girlfriend figured I was playing too much and not paying here enough attention anymore she decided to break-up shortly after new year, which changed something in my mind and I decided to sort the issues that lead to the situation out. I started working on regularly basis again (was freelancing in IT as a programmer) and landed a nice contract I actually didn’t want to get because I already had too much work for the coming weeks. Long story short got paid 15k € for something I usually do for far less. So I finished the outstanding contracts and felt pretty good since I had a nice sum on my bank account again. During this time I was just playing occasionally live tournaments or cash games in a new cardroom and got a quite good run. This led to the situation where I decided to play poker for a living and just didn’t accept any new contracts for the rest of the year. I used to play most of the daily tournaments in the cardroom with buyins between 15 and 50 € and cashgames NLH/PLO100 – 200 ending up with an hourly around 35 € in the cashgames and some good tournament results.
Instead of saving the money to increase my bankroll I partied a lot back then and bought stuff I didn’t need to impress people I actually didn’t like at all. I started playing online again but didn’t care about bankroll management so I just deposited some hundred euro on PokerStars and played PLO200 there. Sometimes I was able to make some winnings but at the end of the day I got totally crushed by the regulars there. Since I didn’t bother to study theoretical stuff so far, I blamed most of it on “tilt” or “bad luck” even though PokerTracker already made it pretty clear that I was mostly playing bad or just “overplaying”. Looking back today it was pretty stupid to think just because I’m a winning player in the cardroom around the corner I could just crush the PLO200 tables too. During the whole year I donated between 6 and 10k € on PokerStars.
During this year I also read my first poker related book “Advanced Pot-Limit Omaha: Small Balll and Short-Handed Play” by Jeff Hwang which kind off opened my eyes a bit since I was shocked that I didn’t know what “floating” is and so on. Even though I did it sometimes but not with the same thoughts or a bit more mindless. I also started reading some of the content on PokerStrategy and watching some of the videos, but at the end (to be honest) I didn’t really try hard.
Did I mention that I spent money on stuff I don't need?

2012 – like almost every year I looked back what I’ve done so far and how my life nowadays is, ending up comparing it with my life working as freelancer in IT. I also made at least 35 € per hour working in IT without the need to worry about variance or table selection. I really focused on the downsides like how poker is affecting my social life. Sleeping every day until 2 or 3pm and going to the cardroom around 6 pm to sign up for the tournament just to hope for a good cash game table. Starting the month with two or three losing sessions adding more pressure on myself that I need to “win it back” + earn my living. So in February when I was grinding a lot of hours in the cardroom to qualify for the half-yearly loyalty tournament it finally happened. After starting the week with 3 winning days being up slightly over 1k I managed to overplay 4 way pot almost 500 BB deep (PLO200) to blow up the winnings of today plus tilting then and donating the winnings of the week in a few more hands after that. I eventually got the hours necessary for the loyalty tournament anyways and managed to ship it for 1k € (remember it pretty well, had an insane chiplead on the FT so we made a deal with 5 players left giving me 1k € straight up and around 500 € for each of them…). Sitenote: also won the loyalty tournament 6 months before
After that time I decided to start working in IT again cause I just couldn’t deal with the pressure and how my “working hours” at the tables where fucking up my social life. I started a partnership with another IT freelancer which forced me to work Mon – Fri starting between 8 and 10am and ending between 4 and 8pm. I still played poker sometimes but not more than twice a week and hardly ever until the morning.
Today I’m pretty sure the main “issues” have been the missing bankroll management and the fact that I didn’t bother to learn for quite a while and thought I’m good enough anyways. Ofc the fact that I partied away most of the money I made also wasn’t that good.
So for the rest of the year nothing big happened besides a first place in a freeroll on win2day (casino site for Austrian citizen) with a field of slightly above 700 players and 250 € for the first place, as well as a first place in the monthly 100 € tournament at the cardroom I used to play paying me another 1k €.
Back in 2012 I also had a “co worker” from Germany who has been living on the Philippines for over 15 years and was planning to go there but eventually got scared of the idea to move there.
      My home-office back then.

2013 – the first half of the year my life was pretty straight forward, working a lot and not playing much until summer when I got hired by one of my regular clients to visit him at his company and setup some new systems. So I went to Germany in June and stayed at my dad’s place for some weeks, visited an old (girl)friend of mine in Leipzig for a week and traveled to Ettlingen to work at my clients company. After two weeks there and earning close to 7k net I started thinking about the agreement I had with the other freelancer (the one I teamed up with the year before) asking myself why the hell should I give him 50% of the profit in this case since I was the one who had to stay there for 2 weeks. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the time there but it just seemed a bit unfair. So I got back to my dad’s place and after some thinking I just bought a ticket to Bangkok for the 20th of August and a return ticket for 2 months later in case I wouldn’t like it there. Before I left for south east Asia I went to Vienna to stop by at another client of mine and then back home for one day to pack things before I headed back to Germany and spent the last few days before the flight there.
I arrived in BKK on August 21th around 8pm and was pretty shocked how different everything is. I guess I will post some details about my life there in the future cause this opening post is already pretty long. It took me a while to get used to Thailand so I spent a bit more money in the beginning until I figured out how things are going. I was impressed by the quality of some counterfeit stuff they got there, so I sent three packages with “stuff” to my brother in Germany (costing around 750 € per parcel) in the hope he could “distribute” the stuff there and we would split the profit. But unfortunately the first package got stopped by customs (another story for later) and regarding the other two packages my brother was just a lazy ass even though I sold some stuff online, just packing it and shipping it to the buyer proved to be too much work for him, even if he would earn 50€ per sold item. After that wasted time in Bangkok I also managed to try it on PokerStars again, ending up donating something between 2 and 3k € to the PLO200 regulars. So eventually after enjoying life in Asia for some time I had to work again. Nothing special happened until the rest of the year, besides me changing my flight until I couldn’t change it anymore and deciding to stay there.
Why Bangkok? I have no idea ^^ :f_drink:

2014 – pokerwise nothing special happened for a long time. I was still in Thailand, had some friends for visit. Went to Lao/Cambodia now and then for visa renewal and made a trip to the south to spend some time on Koh Samui and the other islands around. Went diving there for the first time of my life and really enjoyed it. Met my new girlfriend who is currently sitting right opposite of me and worked most of the year. My visa was ending in October and since I didn’t want to bother with the process of getting and educational visa I decided to just leave Thailand for two months and go to the Philippines. I didn’t want to spent a fortune on accommodation – since it’s hard to find “cheap” places to rent for only two months – so I decided to give couchsurfing a shot. Ended up in the house I’m sitting right now, sharing the place with Jino. Most of the time someone else is also staying with us. Anyway liked it here so much more than in Thailand so I was really not sure what to do. Stay here or go back to Bangkok to see my girlfriend again. Since poker is legal here I ended up playing a 175$ deepstack WPT event busting in place ~55 of around 150 and playing some cashgame NLH200 costing me one stack the first night. I eventually played some more NLH200 ending my second session around 1.5 stacks up just to end up at a PLO300 game and losing it against a fucking whale. Holding AJJKss getting it in on a AJx board (two diamonds) against his T967ds and another guy with the Qhigh FD. So even though I blocked one K and the other guy blocked one Q, the flush didn’t show up but it went on KQ giving the guy with his vision the straight on the river and frustrating me.
My last session since then was a NLH100 session where I played with the former president of the Philippines and current Mayor of Manila at a table. After a good start I just started spewing around losing a total of 5 stacks. This combined with two online sessions on PokerStars and the latest one on PKR summed up to a total loss of slightly above 2k euro since I’m here.
Anyway at the end I was almost broke cause some of my “new” clients didn’t pay their bills. I had a bankroll management like the guy in “Rounders” and thought about staying here or moving back, eventually deciding that cost of living here is cheaper than in BKK and it will allow me to recover faster and reduce the pressure.
My girlfriend got pretty pissed about that cause I first changed flights just to cancel the flight then, eventually ending up surprising me here on the 30th of December and staying here with us for a while. Had my best new year’s eve every here and decided to start this blog.
It's more fun on the Philippines ^^ that's what happens when you give your car keys to someone who is drunk and doesn't have a licence... thank god I was not driving even though they tried to blame it on Ari (german guy who is staying with us since the beginning of december)

      My Current Situation

So about 2.000 words later I’m sitting in our living room writing this and even though it’s not easy to admit some mistakes in public I have to be honest with myself and not bullshit around. My online bankroll in total is around 1$ now, waiting for the rakeback on PKR to be paid which should give me something between 60$ and 150$ to start my challenge with. I don’t know the exact amount because I also unlocked a FDB and don’t know if they deduct it from the rake paid or from the rakeback.
I’m still staying in Cavite near Manila, currently with my girlfriend, Jino and another German guy who showed up here about 3 weeks ago, trying to focus myself on the future and find a proper way/schedule to reach my goals here as well as getting my work done. Being almost broke at the moment doesn’t make things easier, but adds enough pressure to force me to get everything started.

Here my PT4 Graph for Cashgame and Tournaments so far (but it only contains data from the November/December since I lost all my old data about a year ago. To be fair, my history from PKR is also missing here so in real it's been even worse. It's mostly NLH tournaments with average buyin of less then 1$ + some bigger MTTs the biggest with 50€ buyin.

I for myself know that I have a lot to learn and improve but I'm still convinced that I'm already pretty good in theory when it comes to handreading and making decisions I just start to "gamble" or even though I know the guy hit the FD just sometimes pay to see prove. I know it's wrong and that's what this blog is for, to keep track of my improvements and get rid of all those mistakes.

      My Goals

I’m going to play the 180 players MTT SNGs on PokerStars. A friend of mine, a dealer from the cardroom I used to play at, has become a solid winning player at MTTs online and live ending his year with over 100k$ profit last year (still working as dealer to make sure he doesn’t need to win in poker), has offered to coach me and stake 50% of my bankroll allowing me probably to start with the 2.50$ MTTs which would help a lot. Ofc he will get a share of the profit for coaching me and for his investment, but at the end if I takea look at the hourly rates other coaches charge it’s way cheaper for me that way and also makes sure that he also wants me to get a sick winning player cause it will increase his earnings too.
I will use PokerTracker and perhaps StarsHelper to play.
I haven’t set a target for now, because I still need to wait for rakeback and see what stakes I will be able to play, but as soon as this is done I will skype with my coach and define strict rules for the whole process.

      Known Goals:
      • Play an average of 5 days a week
      • Read one SNG/MTT related article per day playing or during the process spent a part of the profit on poker books and read them
      • Watch a SNG/MTT related video twice a week
      • Post hands I’m not sure about in the related forum (once I know the planned volume I will aslo define a min. number of hands to post)
      • Post at least weekly updates in this blog with PT4 graphs

That said I guess I just have to wait for the PKR rakeback and transfer it to PokerStars in order to start. It might take up to two weeks, so it gives all of you enough time to read all of this lol

      Hi, RaucheCh1987,
Oh my, oh my, oh my.

A lot of ups and downs !

I sure hope you continue to blog about your experiences, especially as I plan to start playing seriously on PKR in 2015.
I find that the site is wild compared to the players I'm used to.
I think that it might be because there is no fold button on PKR.
Well there is, but it is a dull grey, and call is green, so I guess they think that they're supposed to click the green one.

I wish you the best of luck!

Best wishes for a peaceful, prosperous 2015,

Thanks for taking your time to read ^^ really appreciate it. Yeah I will keep blogging for sure as I see it is the easiest way to stop making excuses.
When it comes to PKR I really have to say that I like the soft player pool too BUT due to my non existing bankroll managment I managed to blow my roll there on the PLO50 tables in less than 30mins. I could now explain that I got bad beats or whatever but at the end the mistake was mine to play the limit with less than 6 buyins and didn't leave the table after lossing one stack.

Anyway, hope you have a great 2015 too :) and that you enjoy it at PKR. Btw. even though the player pool is softer than on other sites. The software just sucks and afaik PT4 and HEM2 are not working there... and the traffic at least at PLO and SNGs is also not that good, but then I'm playing from the Philippines so my timeframe might be not the best to play there anyways.

      Hey mate!

I guess I'll be seeing a lot of you at the tables for the forseeable future then!

Good luck in your journey and hope to see you make some steady progressions throughout 2015! The $2.50s are full of fish and bad regs with the odd solid $5-10k winner in the pool as well.

      All the best,
      Gary

Christian great start to new blog!
I am looking forward to your road in 180 mans. I am sure you will make excellent profit as these games keep being soft and are excellent warm up for future MTT grinders.
Also I would love to hear your stories about Philippines as I will be moving to Asia for full year perhaps in near future.

Wish you all the best in 2015 with your goals and will be following!

Thanks. Well "a lot" is relative. Like mentioned waiting to see how much I actually get rakeback from PKR and how much it will be in total in cluding the staking money, then we'll see if the 2.50$ are the proper start. Also keep in mind that the time difference has a huge effect here it's 6PM at the moment and since I'm still freelancing in IT I have to find the proper shedule to get both done. So the coming two weeks will be more planing than learning or playing to make sure I find the best balance between social life/work in IT/work at the tables...

Thanks. Actually before I started writing I was thinking about just saying "oh this is my blog whatever" but since you are that honest here (even though you results in the past look way better ^^) I figured I have to do it right and admit my losses too... it's actually scary how much I donated over the years, but the fact that I know I made my living with it already makes me believe I'm not that bad... I just make so many hero calls, even though I read villains hand perfect I just pay so often just to see that I'm right.

Well I guess the next two weeks will be silent since PKR pays rakeback on 11th and I have to tranfer the money to stars then too. But that gives me some time to figure out a proper shedule to have time for work and poker. But after that it should run really well, trust my "coach" since I know him for years and he's really solid online and live.

I assume we gonna have a lot to talk in the future perhaps the two of us can make a small challenge or propbet at some point to keep things interessting.

Yesterday was a pretty sweet day. First day of new year where I felt motivated again to get things done (like starting the blog obv). Also found time to start to deal with some work related server issues, and later Ari (the german guy staying with us) invited two of the girls from the neighbourhood to drink some GinTea with us. Like always once he got drunk, he started to behave like a 16 year old again (he's 24) and first tried to turn the nice evening together in a drinking competition.
Later Jino and a friend (Pookie) came home and joined us, but at least Jino got annoyed pretty soon by Ari and just went to bed.
Around Midnight the girls gave up and we walked them home. Mhea the younger one (just 18) was totally wasted so once we got back she just called that she is alone at home ^^ but Ari behaving like 16 year old (even though he's hanging out with her a lot and even made out with her the last time) was just like "I don't need that whore"... really annoying.... ended up picking the girl up again so she can sleep here in the guest-bedroom and drinking a little bit more.
Ari topped his behaviour later ^^ the guest bedrooms window is open and right above the place where we've been drinking... so I wonder what the girl felt like when Ari started to "show off" with sentences like "Oh she's a bitch. I already f*cked her last time. Don't want her anymore...." and asking Pookie if she (actually a guy, but gay so we address her as "she") wants to fuck Mhea and my girlfriend...

Damn, Jino has hosted over 20 people over the last years through couchsurfing and even though I'm sure he wasn't ok with some of them, Ari is the first one that makes him consider to stop hosting people at all. And the worst thing, Ari came here almost pennyless so we would have a bad conscience throwing him out...
What's most annoying about it is that Jino always just gives me the responsibility about him, since german is my native language he thinks it's easier for me to deal with him... BUT as we all know, there is no way to reason with a drunk kid.

So much about the private stuff that went on here. I know not the most intressting stuff but I just need to write it out, cause I can't talk about it here cause he'd understand ^^

Poker related there is also some news. Talked to PKR support yesterday, to figure out how much and when I will get the rakeback paid. Got a bit disappointet cause I got a first deposit bonus last month too which will be deducted from the rake, leaving me with 20% rakeback off around 350$ instead 32% off 460$. Meaning I will only have around 70$ from PKR to transfer in the beginning, so I might have to deposit a bit (depending on how much my coach will stake me) to have a solid roll for the 2.50$ mtt's.

Today I will read some theory and watch a MTT video here, but most of the time will be spent on working. Hope you all had a great Friday too :)

EDIT: since I got over 1k pictures just from the last year on my laptop I will attach one to each post, sometimes with just a few words, and sometimes with a story to it, to give you an insight on how my life in Asia is/has been.

Here's an old picture, from a Harley Davidson meeting in Germany before I left for Asia. Even though I prefer bikes like Kawasaki Z800 or er6-n I wouldn't mind to have that beauty... talking again about "things I don't need" lol

Hello Christian...I told you it would be interesting :D ! Your life is incredible and I'm amazed and even slightly inspired by you taking so much variance in pretty much every aspect of your life. I will try to keep reading, and good luck with your goals!

Thanks. Well I've always been a kind of all or nothing guy. That's also my biggest problem, since I never was able to find a healthy balance between work and other things. I have the opinion that it's not +EV doing multiple things "at once" even though that's what I'm trying to achieve now. It's like playing 12 tables and watching a movie on the side -> it's quite sure that it will affect the quality of your game.

Anyway on the other hand a little bit balance between think will pretty sure remove the variance cause once I manage to keep working and play/study enough on the side there will be "no pressure" at my game anymore, cause I still know I can pay my bills with my regular income (even though it's not the same every month).

At that point I perhaps might point out that my cost of living at the moment is just ridiculously low, so I only need around 8k Pesos which is around 180$ monthly to cover all my private expenses. Ofc there are other business related expenses like server rent, licence fees and so on but after all I can't recall that it's possible in Europe to live with that money.

I will use this reply also to just write a small daily summary of what I've accomplished/done today:

      Daily Summary:
...watched So, You Want to Grind 180's - Week 1 by tomsom87
        ...created my Tradimo trading blog
...fixed my server issues, which have been driving me crazy for 3 weeks now, as always it was a tiny mistake, forget to define two timeouts in the nginx (Webserver) configuration
...completed a clients request (just one hours work)

I usually would "tilt" a bit now regarding the server issues, cause I spent over 30 hours and setup the systems at least 10 times from scratch, just to solve the problem now by adding two more lines to the configuration, but nowadays I'm just happy that everything seems to be working like a charm. Looking forward, still have to find a proper shedule to ensure I can accomplish all my goals. Waiting for a reply at tradimo regarding the best trading hours, since I think I will have to plan the rest around those times.

I hope you understand what I'm saying ^^ been a "long" day, feeling a bit exhausted from a lot of information and multitasking so it might be a bit confusing to follow my thoughts ^^

First of all, sry for the quality of the picture. I took it on the 1st of October 2013 in Bangkok with my Nokia Lumia 920. I did a firmeware update a few days before that, and after that my camera was fucked up and eventually needed to be replaced (could perhaps also just be a coinsidence that it broke exactly after the update).

Anyway, when I arrived in Bangkok in August I felt totally shocked, being in a foreign country wihtout speaking the language or knowing anybody there. So, even though I don't have an official driving license I decided to rent a bike to get used to the city and avoid dealing with greedy taxi and tuktuk drivers all the time. At first I got a Kawasaki D-Tracker (250cc) cause I didn't want to spent a fortune, but from October to December I had a great deal with the bike store. I made there new website and got any bike for free as long as it was not requested by a paying client for that time. So I ended up driving almost anything Kawasaki had to offer in the 650cc class and I have to say it's just amazing in a city, where rules are just decoration, to "surf" between the cars and don't have to care about traffic jams and so on. The pic is showing a Kawasaki er6-n 650cc (my favourite after the Z800 and the er6-f Ninja) while I got suprised by heavy rain and had to stop for 20 mins to avoid getting totally soaked.

That said - I wish all of you a good night (here it's 10pm and I still have to finish the mentioned 180s video and spent some time with my friends here) and/or gl at the tables.

Today was okay. Like I mentioned there won't be any action at the tables before my rakeback money from PKR is transfered to Stars.

Anyway checked PKR today I saw that I still got a 30$ ticket (which I won from a 3.50$ ticket) and signed up for satellite to the 150$ (50k$ GTD) tonight. Just busted there, after some misplayed hands ended up with 12BB and decided to shove A7s UTG after folding for about 20mins got a call from AKo on the button and busted obv.

      Known Players:
      BB: 3100 - 16 bb
      UTG3: 2145 - 11 bb
      BU: 3100 - 16 bb
      MP1: 14120 - 71 bb
      MP2: 4630 - 23 bb
      MP3: 6335 - 32 bb
      CO: 8560 - 43 bb

      100/200 No Limit Hold'em Tournament (7 Handed)
Hand recorder for this hand: PokerStrategy.com SideKick 2.1.11218.1

      Preflop: Hero is UTG3 with A:club: , 7:club:
BB posts big blind (200), Hero raises for 2145 and is all in, 4 folds, BU 3-bets 3100 and is all in, BB folds, BU gets uncalled back (955)

      Flop: (4490 - 22.45 bb) J:heart: , T:spade: , 8:diamond: (2 Players)

      Turn: (4490 - 22.45 bb) J:diamond: (2 Players)

      River: (4490 - 22.45 bb) 4:club: (2 Players)

Not happy with my play in this tourney, but on the other hand I always get annoyed playing on PKR because the software really sucks.

Besides that I've been pretty busy today, starting to work on one of the projects (finishing a webstore design for one of my clients) from December, and also spent some time to think about the proper time managment to handle my dayjob + poker + trading in 2015.
Figured I have to trade from 4pm to max. 9pm and perhaps include 30-60 min. before and after that for the trading blog and a review of what I've done.
Ofc 3pm to 10pm would be way to much time for just one of three important things, so I might cut it down.

      Perhaps:
3:30pm - read market related news to be up2date with what might happen once the market opens
      4:00pm - start trading
6:00pm - stop trading and write results in the trading blog
      6:30pm - break
7:00pm - something else (work or poker)*

*have to discuss this with my coach, if it fits in his timetable I will poker at that time, but since it is noon in Austria at this time, I doubt that it will fit in his plans, so for now it looks like I will work IT at "night" and poker before the trading hours start.

I'd prefer it the other way, cause even though you know how long a 180 SNG MTT lasts in average you don't know it for sure, so I will have to plan it in a way that I will be done with poker at 3pm average?!

Sometimes I wonder, even though so many things are so easy for me, how come I suck at time management like if I wouldn't even know how many hours a day has... (obv 12 hours :f_cool: )

Oh, almost forgot, I also watched a video by CollinMoshman today, to get some more input about the 180s. Was kind of suprised about his pushing range, but understood pretty quick that you can't always wait for premium hands and it becomes +EV to shove wider with lower stacks.
Don't get me wrong, I knew before that depending on the current M your pushing range gets wider, I just would've never thought that things like K7o would ever be in there (except when your M is below 2)...

So my day was pretty ok. Tmrw I have to deal with a lot of work related issues and have to finish the registration for my new trading account, even though I will try to find the time to read some theory articles or wacht a video and ofc post a daily summary here.

That said -> let's call it a night (which mean I'm going to have some GinTea with my housemates right now). Wish you all gl at tables.

In Germany people would get sued or perhaps arrested for showing flags like those. In Thailand it's normal to see those signs once in a while on t-shirts or other flags.

Puh, what a day or what a night. Depending how you look at. Sunday got a bit longer, since my beloved flatmate Ari decided to get some GinTea again, so we started drinking around 9:30pm and somehow managed to keep drinking until the morning.

Always nice to see the sunrise in the morning, and have some pancakes made by Jino while finishing the last few glasses of GinTea. Went to bed at 11am and got up again at 3pm.
Had to deal with some IT support stuff, but aborted work around 7:30pm to go to bed again because I got a really bad headache (I have no idea why :f_biggrin: )

Woke up againat 1:30am just to deal with another clients issue until almost now (4:00am).

Pokerwise nothing happened, still waiting for the Rakeback from PKR, and thinking about depositing again, but since I still got a lot of stuff to do and plan I guess it's better to still have some time to prepare properly.
Got some minor stuff done for my trading blog and also managed to setup my twitch channel where I will make a (delayed) live stream once I start playing.
Besides that nothing big happened until now, will read an ICM related article now, and watch another video, perhaps Part 2 of tomsom's 180's video series.

One of the few reasons, why I love living in south east asia. How old do you guys think is she? Without her (Kris) my life in Bangkok would've been really boring, had some great experiences together. Really do miss her sometimes here on the Philippines, but I guess you just can't have everything at the same time.

      supplement
Just finished the ICM article and tried the quiz. Feels kind of good, to know that I'm not such a big fish and still now some theoretical stuff...

Hey man, great blog, just read it!

Well I've always been a kind of all or nothing guy.

I can totally relate to that.

So I'm following now, and really looking forward to watching your climb in 2015. Good luck mate! :f_drink:

Thx. Your challenge is also very interessting, and so far it seems like you had a good start.

I've had a sleepless night, so I decided to finish tomsoms week2 video I mentioned earlier regarding the 180s. After that I finally got my MTT trial HUD from ProPokerHuds and set it up in PT4. Decided to signup for the $100k Depositor Freeroll on Stars to test it.
Playing with the essential version of it right now, as another community member would sell me his for 20.00$ which would be around 30% discount. So far it looks pretty good, and might be more than enough for the 180s.

I can actually only recommend every PT4 user to test there HUDs since they are realy amazing.
Freeroll is on break at the moment. 1701 players remaining out of 8340. With 59BB I'm currently on place 267. Lets see how far it goes. Even though I'm really sleepy and have to leave after lunch to get money from the ATM, as well as call my bank in Austria, cause I managed to lock my online banking account today by entering the wrong password three times, will try to play my A-Game until I bust.
Btw. testing the Twitch live stream (no audio) right now, so if anyone has some time to check it and report about the quality I would be very grateful.

Besides that also made progress with my shedule, will post it later once I'm done with the "important" stuff.

So, after my last post things didn't go that well in the freeroll so I busted 925/8340 for $0.31. Besides the fact that I suddenly got unlucky (JJ<AA) I also got fucking tired and had a hard time to keep my eyes open.
Anway, could test the HUD so far, and will test the Advanced and Premium version of it later today/tomorrow.

I also got a basic idea on how my shedule might look like at the beginning.

I don't know how the traffic on the $2.50 180s is at those times, but I guess I have to find out. Also desided to take Saturdays off, to have some time to recharge and relax.
Might change the hours after I talked with my coach about it, but for now those would fit best, since trading time has to be at this point, I also should do my IT work at a time where clients in Europa are online.

      Looks nice. Keep it up.
About those privileg freerolls. I dont play them anymore. I remember the time where they just came. Price structure were slightly better.
I finished there in 8th place, dropped out QQ vs AQ, ace came on the river. I got something like 30+-$ while the first place were getting 400+$. I was totally upset  And now im just staying away from them because of the low value. Dont like to grind for hours and hours to get few cents or bucks.

Well I don't play either. Just have no money on Stars at the moment (as mentioned in one of the "novels" above ;) ) and wanted to test the HUD.
I even doubt that good results there are even worth anything, cause most players go broke with almost any two.
