      hi everyone,

For the next three Thursdays, I will be doing live coachings on the following topics:

      1/15 - Preflop game plan in 2015
-we will discuss how top players have changed some preflop strategies in the past year, as well as go over basic ranges
-should be helpful both for beginners and players who are already winners

1/22 - Flop strategy as PFR: when to cbet and when to check
-we will discuss what to look for when considering cbetting, the difference between being IP and OOP, and more
-please post HHs in this thread that show flop spots you were not sure about!

1/29 - Facing flop aggression: reviewing hands when bet into or raised on the flop
-this will be mostly a HH review where we will discuss various concepts in practice
-post hands in this thread of hands where you faced a flop bet or raise, so we have hands to review!

Please join me and post questions and HHs in this thread!

      Hey Oblioo,

I really liked and learned a lot from your latest coaching. Unfortunately I managed to see only half of it (arrived too late). Are there any plans to put a coaching recording in the video section? It would be so awesome...

      Anyway, my Flop spot:
Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      SB: $18.64 (74.6 bb)
      BB: $48.12 (192.5 bb)
      Hero (UTG): $34.89 (139.6 bb)
      MP: $40.94 (163.8 bb)
      CO: $25 (100 bb)
      BTN: $11.98 (47.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9 T
Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.75, 2 folds

      Flop: ($1.85) K 2 9 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($1.85) 8 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      River: ($1.85) Q (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Results:
      $1.85 pot ($0.08 rake)
      Final Board: K 2 9 8 Q
      Hero showed 9 T and won $1.77 ($1.02 net)
BTN mucked 7 7 and lost (-$0.75 net)

Often I have some trouble deciding if CBet with 2nd pair is good or not. It also includes multiway pots. Some tips would be nice :) .

Hey Oblioo, I just got time this evening to join your coaching .
As I saw that nearly nobody took the chance to post HH´s, I marked some Flops (22) in my Holdem Manager.
Maybe you would like to click through this hands during the coaching.

      AggroNitt,

Thank you for sharing, but could you please choose a few hands to post on weaktight.com and post the links in this thread, or at least post them as PokerStrategy converted HHs? I don't think I or anyone else wants to read through a .txt file to discuss hands. Cheers

      UTG+2: $25.00 - VPIP: 19, PFR: 16, 3B: 9, AF: 2,6, Hands: 146
      Hero (MP1): $58.46 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 17, 3B: 6, AF: 2,7, Hands: 20290
      MP2: $40.16 - VPIP: 15, PFR: 12, 3B: 1, AF: 1,2, Hands: 238
      CO: $25.35 - VPIP: 16, PFR: 12, 3B: 6, AF: 2,9, Hands: 9137

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP1 with K  K :spade:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.70, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.70, 2 folds

      Flop: ($1.75) T :club: 3 :diamond: Q :club: (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($1.75) 7 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.50, BTN raises to $4.50, Hero calls $3

      River: ($10.75) 4  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $7.50, Hero calls $7.50

Villain is a bit to tight, calls 8% of hands on the Btn and 3bets 4% of Hands Btn vs Mp.

He bets 50% vs missed Cbet.

His Range hits the board realy hard, better than mine ( something around 60% to 40%)
I would give him a range like that: QQ-55,AQs-ATs,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,T9s,AJo+,KQo

How do u like the x-c to protect my x-f Range?
What do u think about a "check only" strategy against tuffer opponents?

I dont have much Hands on them but both player are folding to much on 3bets so far and i decided to go for a squeeze.

I guess I should cbet more linear than polarized in these situations to avoid this ugly spot and to protect my Hand..

Villain is pretty unknown and I have a real small Range so i dont want to split it into a betting and checking Range. I guess i should check my hole Range couse i cant expect him folding much with my blufs and he probably would bet him self most of his pairs to protect against high cards..

What would be the default play here? Most of the players at these stakes tend not to raise OESDs IP and usually raise on a drawy board IP means a really strong hand.

If his value range looks like: TT,88,QJs,T8s+,98s,76s,QJo I don't think I have a value 3b here (~45% equity if he's going to GII with the whole range)? At the same time there are quite a few action killing cards that might come OTT.

Is it a good spot for a bluff raise here?
