30 day hardcore self improvement challenge

      Hi there.
      I will use this blog to track my progress at my 30 day challenge. I am a former NL100 grinder who took a long time off and now want to really crush poker. I took a spare 40$ that I had laying around and started grinding NL2 a week ago. I now have the same problem I had back when I was playing higher: Motivation.
      I had a lack of motivation which resulted in me not puting in enough volume and not working on my game enough. So this is the topic that I will work on primarily.
      So here is the challenge. You are invited to come along or you can sit back, watch me doing these things and kicking ass:

      1) No snacking allowed. Only 2-3 meals per day.
      2) Wake up daily at 6am.
      3) Cold showers.
      4) No masturbation or internet porn.
      5) Hit the gym daily.
      6) Dress good every day.
      7) Keep a to-do list and do it.
      8) Keep correct posture and hold eye contact.
      9) Answers to yes or no questions are "yes" or "no". Explanations do not follow.
      10) Take sunday off.

      These are the rules. As I do want to improve my poker game and put in volume, I have the task of playing 3k hands a day on top of the to-do list daily.
      My goal after the first 30 days are:
      - Be playing NL10
      - Feel a lot more energized
      - Improvement in all my lifts at the gym.

      I don't know if you are interested in my gym routine or anything regarding working out. I will leave it out for now but feel free to ask and I will answer.
      So far so good. I will start tomorrow and post updates to my challenge daily. Poker updates will be posted less frequently.

      First day and I managed to do all things. I spend most of my day learning for my exam tomorrow. Tomorrow will be harder because I have to write an exam and also learn for the next one which is the day after tomorrow. I hope I still manage to get in the 3k hands.

      I usually get back from the gym at 7:30 and start my first session then. I like to get most work done while other people are still sleeping. It just feels great when you have finished most of your work before others are rolling out of bed.

      Today was very hard. I had to put in a lot of time learning for my exam. Then writing the exam and learning for the next one tomorrow. I still managed to get in the 3k hands. I did not play super well as I am tired as shit but I hit my goal. Tomorrow will be a little bit easier.

      I am pretty sick at the moment and not really feeling well. I still managed to grind in the required hands. I don't have any plans for the next days so I will relax and grind. Hopefully I will run a little bit better so I can take a shot at NL5 soon.

      Managed to put in 3k hands today again.

      Pretty awesome challenge I have to say!

      How many tables are you playing? (regular/zoom) How much time does it take you to put in 3k hands?

      I am currently struggling to develop and maintain a grinding and studying schedule and your challenge has inspired me.
