Alright, first day of fun is over. Started off by playing some sweet sweet 2nl Zoom Full Ring. While doing so I also play'd two whole two $0.55 MTT's for fun and a 20FPP MTT with a cash in the 20FPP netting me -0.2 from the MTT gambles. But after winning a nice juicey 200bb deep pot while ZOOMing, I closed them out to play the sweet action of 2nl Regular Full Ring games! All in all the Zoom Full Ring gambles netted me +3.43, and Full Ring got me a whole 3 cheese burgers hot and fresh for +7.10. Since today is also a Monday I guess that means week 1 is beginning for me and its starting off hot, and really fun.

Here's the numbers. Format followed by amount, and then the net for the week.
Week 0 (Does first day count?)
      MTT's: 3 (-0.2)[-20FPP]
      Zoom Full Ring: 3061 (+3.43)
      Full Ring: 1487 (+7.10)
      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $92.96 / $1000

So I'm trying to use my FPP and the satellites are great value. I go load one up and the thing is over after the first two hands with me folding my way to a sweet 11T$. At this early on in a bankroll builder, the joy of folding to boost the roll by over 10% is just right in the feels. Sadly I had to lose some other satellites to run this good though, so in total I entered 2 235FPP satellites, and 2 70FPP satellites, with a win in each one for a total of 14.30T$. And I know FPP's don't magically appear and I used more then what most people who start off with a fresh $80USD have (which is 0), but the magic of the internet...maybe you come back from not playing a long time and find FPP's, lets go with that.

The Fold to Win strategy, but honestly the hands played out pretty standard I'd have to say.

Call of BB with JTs in 2nd hand is I think optimistic against 1 all-inn and a call with ICM with 2 players gets a seat if I’m right, but further pretty standard I guess.

I wish you good luck with your challenge to reach a 1k bankroll :gl:

Alright day two ended for me after a short session. Sadly today was a BE day but seem's like it was because I was playing bit to loosely goosey! Moved up to 5nl though and the pay seems even more juicy up here! I also had some aggression to unleash so I did a few hands of 5nl 6 Max Zoom. So a glorious profit of $1.09 USD today, with a loss of 140 FPP!

Was a nice short day today, I'm going to do a real commited grind tomorrow though and try and boost myself out into the realms of 10nl. Played well today, only two spots that I didn't do what was a disciplined fold I think, maybe there were more. I started off 12-18 tabling 5nl Full Ring and later switched to 5nl Zoom Full Ring. Without a doubt regular games beat out zoom, but the volume and ease of focus on zoom is nice, so I foresee myself doing a split of the two. So I only played a little over two hours today, while leaving an MTT on while doing other things I've not only booked a profit by cashing in "The Hot 0.55", I'm up $26.76 USD for the day from cash games. Here are the numbers for the whole week so far.

      Zoom Full Ring: 8469 (-1.68)
      Full Ring: 2887 (+29.54)
      Zoom 6 Max: 333 (+10.52)
      MTT's: 4 (0.6)[-20FPP]
      Satellites: 6 (+14.3T$)[-750FPP]

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $120.57 + 13.75T$ / $1000

*Seems like the numbers don't actually add up properly, but they are close enough. I'm using HM2 to pull info on hands, and winnings on different formats, and the BR Start, and BR Goal are just from the Pokerstars Cashier.

An extra long day as done today, so long its way into the next day already. Largest volume day so far clocking in at 530 minutes, and even had the chance to squeeze in two $0.55 MTT's one of which being "The Hot 0.55", and one 235FPP sattalite which I won. I grinded 5nl with a mix of Zoom and regular tables again today and hit the magic $200 mark so I moved up to 10nl. The only 10nl I've played so far was 10nl Zoom Full Ring as I wanted a more smooth and easy to play table that would allow me to move back down quickly with less pain if it came to that. Luckly it was unnecessary, as after breaking even for an hour and half 4 tabling 10nl Zoom Full Ring I started to profit and run really well. Time to take a break and it's why I managed to slip away and do this writeup. 530 minutes done today with 10,564 hands played (not counting MTT's) with a sweet profit of $133.2 USD, plus enouhg FPP's to take 2 shots at the 235FPP satellites which I'll do tomorrow hopefully walking away with 22T$. Here's the numbers for the first week tally'd up so far, and seems like things are going smooth. :sfishy:

      Zoom Full Ring: 18322 (122.58)
      Full Ring: 3598 (+38.48)
      Zoom 6 Max: 333 (+10.52)
      MTT's: 6 (-0.5)[-20FPP]
      Satellites: 6 (+25.3T$)[-985FPP]

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $249.88 + 23.65T$ / $1000

      Day 5 + Day 6!

Still on inception week and I missed a day of posting. Had a swingy last two days, but a sweet bonus for myself. So I'm still playing 10nl Zoom Full ring as I seemed to punt away 7 buy-in's playing like a loose goose but snapped out of it. I ended up Day 5 around $5 in profit after accounting for the hot run from the last post which was unfortunate, but I knew I was running hot, and expected lots of suckouts but instead I punted of 7 stacks off. I didn't play any MTT's that day so keeping my change in my pocket. I don't check my cashier during my sessions as I just check it to see if I need to move down but since I started the day "rolled" for 10nl at 27 BI's I never took a look. At the end of the day when I checked my balance it seemed to have magically doubled! I was writing up an email to Pokerstars thinking it's like when your bank balance is wrong as this is real life and not monopoly. As I was about to send it off I recalled the All-In Shootouts where that day and to my luck I won a sweet profit of $259 USD! Not only did I still manage a winning day but I doubled my bankroll YET AGAIN! I ended Day 5 around $450 USD so can't complain there. Day 6 just started off with 2 hours into it so I'll give the final update on the numbers at the end of the day but here is how they stand right now. I also busted out of the 100FPP Silver VIP $30,000 MTT so my luck seems to have run out. But I need to add I still haven't done any satellites as I'm planning on saving them for Sunday so I get some more value there.

I'm planning on playing 10nl Zoom Full Ring still even thought I am over rolled til I hit around 10k hands to make sure I am indeed a winner at these games. Up til this point I was using a Bankroll Management of 20BI's to take a shot with moving down when I hit 15 BI's. That was mainly catered towards the micros which I consider 2nl to 16nl as 25nl is the starting point for low stakes. Since I do indeed have over $400 USD, I'll be taking a shot at the 16nl Full Ring games and maybe the 16nl Zoom 6 Max games as well later today. I'll be switching over to 25BI's for shots and 20BI's to move down once I start taking shots for 25nl. This isn't set in stone and I might just stick with 20BI's once I feel comfortable. ORRRRRRRRRR I'll just play lots of MTT's and have fun in those, I really enjoy MTT's with some cash games running on the side. Bit of a rabble now but how cool would it be if I could finish the challenge in under a week, STRECH GOAL!

      Zoom Full Ring: 21845 (112.39)
      Full Ring: 3598 (+38.48)
      Zoom 6 Max: 333 (+10.52)
      MTT's: 7 (-0.5)[-120FPP]
      Satellites: 6 (+25.3T$)[-985FPP]
Bonus: 259 ("Maratik" Challenge All-In Shootout, $150,000 Added)

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $496.49 + 23.65T$ / $1000

*PS seems like I'm still digging myself out of my punting hole!

final BR for the night is $466.82 + 23.65T$ / $1000, took a shot at 16nl after doing 10k hands at 10nl Zoom Full Ring and it didn't go so well, so I'm gonna play some more at 10nl for Day 7 and see how I feel about it. 16nl feels like a casino!

Nice performance to double up your bankroll in the last couple of days :appl:

Looks like the link in your signature isn’t working.
If you change your signature and you don’t mark ‘Deactivate BB code’ your link should work again.

      Day 7!!!!!

Ok, before I start, for the 2nd week I'll change up my reporting format as this is really hard to keep track of stuff in the evenings once I'm done. These last few days have been rough and mainly breaking even at 10nl+ (I'm up at 10nl but not EV BB so clearly its fair to say at least some improvement will serve me well before moving up). I plan on sticking at 10nl til I can clear it for 4evbb. In the mean time I'm also going to start really working on my game now. The easy crusing limits are over...for now! So since I have around 10k hands at 10nl Zoom (I know regular tables are more easy but still) I'm going to work on a default gameplan better suited for 10nl, and go through my postflop hands to ensure I am sticking to my simplified postflop strategy, and if not work on sticking to it and try to see why I changed it.

So far its still been a blast and the fact I'm winning and sanged a payday in the all in shoot out is icing on the cake for me.

      Zoom Full Ring: 27253 (+64.16)
      Full Ring: 4954 (+39.38)
      Zoom 6 Max: 5368 (+7.43)
      MTT's: 15 (-13.7)[-250FPP]
      Satellites: 13 (+36.3T$)[-2630FPP]
Bonus: 259 ("Maratik" Challenge All-In Shootout, $150,000 Added)

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $441.81 + 21.45$ / $1000
*so yeah the breakdown in numbers is way off so I'll just stick to the BR total number I see in the cashier, that has to be accurate!

Week 1 Goal: Didn't have one, just came to have a good time playing pokers [X]
Week 2 Goal: Work on my preflop gameplan, Review more of my postflop hands, Pick some videos to watch for next week, Find some people to study with! (if anyone reading this is grinding up from 5nl - 16nl shoot me a PM!)

      DAY 11!

Was busy for 3 days then played 3 more...and by played I mean splashing around :f_eek: . BUT I HAD FUN! now back to some bankroll building. On stars since I last left you I managed to drop my roll down to $410...BUT the fun is I was playing on unibet. Loving their site and how it feels to play there. Over the last few days I've been hammering the freerolls and walked away with a 4$ ticket which turned into $20, then $6, then $50, then $30, then $100!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEN $180!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but now just $80, and by $ mean euros. I ended up losing a bunch on thier 10bb short stack tables, but still fun overall. they have a promotion for it and the rake seems very beatable so I might just grind those this week. All in all it was a crazy fun weak of poker, ALSO before I forget I played a bunch of SCOOP's and that came from the roll too...so fun! Good thing I didn't mention BRM to much or I'd feel bad playing the SCOOPs...but again if it's no longer fun whats the point!

So for my play on Pokerstars HM2 works so I could tally my total hands, but on unibet there's no tracking software allowed so I can only go by the number of my flops seen...not sure how to turn that into a number accurately so since my VPIP is around 20%, ill just 6x the number of flops seen (the extra 1x is for when pots taken down preflop, aka me stealing or general PF action, if anyone has a better way to guesstimate or just more familiar with the unibet software let me know!

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $410 USD + $83 EUR

Pokerstars results 21047 hands and -44 from cash games, and i guessing since that BR droped around 62 bucks down -18 from MTTs
Unibet Poker results 709 flops seen so maybe ~4250 hands and up 83 euros from a mix of NLH, PLO, SNG, MTT's, bonus*
Total hands: 25,000 ish? MTT's I did around 20 or so I think this week. Overall I think I'm up actually since 1 EUR is around 1.1 USD putting me I think ~$500?

*So unibet has a 500 EUR bonus that you clear with rake and so far I have unlocked a paltry 5 EUR, working ont he 15 EUR now. I think I'll just keep playing on unibet as I have 2 months to clear this bonus with around a month and a half remaining so hopefully by then I'll also have a sweet 1k EUR's. The games are fun here and I plan on just 2 - 4 tabling while playing 4 tables or zoom or total of 8 normal tables mixed between the two networks. I'm playing between 4NL to 50NL (with me buying in super short stack for 50nl at 10bb's) right now depending on how good the games are.

Anyways as for today I'll just play cash games and load up some MTT's, especially excited for some of the SCOOP events including the badugi one!

And as for the goal this week I did do it, and worked on my game a lot, really happy with my preflop game plan but unfortunately I got to fancy with my postflop game plan and that set me back, so for now I'm going to just keep it super simple as I'll not need to play anything above 25nl to hit my BR goal, maybe I'll start introducing more advanced concepts at 50nl as it truly is so marginal to use those skills here that I more often then not stab myself in the foot once or twice and wipe out any +EV spots I gained from it since I'm dumb:f_p: .

on the off chance someone is actually reading this, if you play on Unibet lemme know! We can make a study group for tackling that network as it's a great one to play one, and since the games are anonymous, sharing some strategies between us wouldn't hurt.

Day 11 END! Was a long long day, but in the end the fruits of labour were bore. Grinded on stars and on unibet with stars breakeven all day til the end landing me at a total of 435 USD there. Played on unibet and tore up the tables and ended the day there with 355 EUR in that account! Also I am planning and making a run at thier leaderboards this week for their banzai challenge which is great since it's capped at 2 tables so it's easy to just have them off on the side satisfying my short stack urges. Currently I am 3rd on thier leaderboard and am planning to take it down for the first place prize (it is weekly with 1st 750eur, 2nd 500eur, 3rd 400eur, 4th 300eur, 5th 200eur, and the rest declining, but I'm only aiming for the top spot)! The total amount of hands played today? No idea, just having fun. Playing poker without hand histories has this fun appeal to it and I'm loving it. So with the EUR at 1.1:1 to USD it means the end of the day my bankroll has bloomed from 435 USD + 355 EUR giving me roughly now ~$825! seems like if I can keep this up I'll hit my goal of 1k in no time. The Welcome bonus over at Unibet I'm still working on releasing the 15EUR at around 30% , so seems like I'll have to continue rising in stakes there if I'm to make a go at clearing it all since it releases next 80 EUR then 400 EUR. If i can clear only 30% of 15 a day, that means roughly 5 EUR a day is cleared and I just won't have enough time! Time to rest and keep the grind alive for tomorrow. I'm also only 150 VPP's from unlocking a $50 USD bonus so if I can win little over $100 tomorrow I think the challenge will be complete! Seems like all that working on my game and then ditching the fancies paid off big time.

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $435 USD + $355 EUR ~$825 / $1000

side note, I also have a 4NL EUR ticket I need to clear before adding it to my roll and it's seen 50 flops, so just 300 more to go. I unlocked a bunch of SnG tickets as well so that's been adding to my roll when I win, I dont add tickets before they turn into real cash.

been a long week, dunno what day so.. DAY !?!?!? 17?!..

      DAY 17!

yeah so actually I finished this on day 12 lol...playing some MTT's and did great! so ding ding over the 1000 mark! Rest of the week just kept playing with nothing changing, just playing what was fun and some MTT's that I liked and now we are way over 1k! So I guessing around 10k cash hands and another 20 MTT's and I hit the mark. I also cashed a SCOOP today after sattying in but it was a low for around ~$50 but it counts. Also got another 75eur in the roll from a leaderboard so all in all great fun 3 weeks, but terrible blog. I'll probrally do this again more journal style for myself as it would be cool to recount.

The main bulk of my BR boost was from playing a daily MTT over at unibet, won it for 1st one time, 2nd another, and even as I'm writting this I'm at the final table again for the 3rd time this week! I've played it 4 times so far and so far have been CRUSHING IT while enjoying it so much due to the no HUD and hand history aspect of it, totally fun and a blast!

      BR Start: $82.63 USD
      BR Goal: $385 USD + 667 EUR ~$1118 / $1000

So had a blast, and I'll be back for another BR Challenge soon! Probably want to do one starting next week once SCOOP wraps up as I'll enjoy dropping my roll off to that.
