      Hi everybody!

      I would like to improve my poker skills and what would be better than open my own blog. My poker history is quite short I've been playing on and off about 3 years now, mostly tournaments. Now It's time to take poker seriously and start to play 6-max cash .

      My starting bankroll is 200$ and I'm going to play NL6

      Goals for next week:
      * Update this blog daily
      * Sign in to bankroll challenge
      * Finish w34z3l's 6-max walktrough
      * On table and off table training ratio 2:1
      * Make some money:f_love:

      ps. hope my english is understandable, see you tomorrow

      Day 1

      * Poker2h
      * Videos 1h
      * Hands: 465
      * Profit: $14,95

      Online poker is dead=)

      Pacific, $0.03/$0.06 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
      Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      Hero (SB): $8.82 (147 bb)
      BB: $6 (100 bb)
      UTG: $7.53 (125.5 bb)
      MP: $6 (100 bb)
      CO: $6.16 (102.7 bb)
      BTN: $6.09 (101.5 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is SB with Q Q
      4 folds, Hero raises to $0.18, BB raises to $0.48, Hero raises to $1.50, BB raises to $6 and is all-in, Hero calls $4.50

      Flop: ($12) A 7 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      Turn: ($12) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      River: ($12) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results:
      $12 pot ($0.70 rake)
      Final Board: A 7 8 7 8
      Hero showed Q Q and lost (-$6.00 net)
      BB showed A 2 and won $11.30 ($5.30 net)

      The guy was defending his blinds very agressive and he basically 3-bet every time I raised SB vs BB.

      I registered to get rich or die trying challenge and I set my goal to 2000$.
      *Bankroll: 214,95/2000

      Sorry for not updating my blog...

      Day 2-4
      * Poker: 7,5h
      * Videos and game analyze: 1,5h
      * Hands: 1689
      * Profit: $6,16

      I had few bad session and I made some stupid hero calls like this
      Pacific, $0.03/$0.06 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
      Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      SB: $6.72 (112 bb)
      BB: $3.08 (51.3 bb)
      Hero (CO): $6.48 (108 bb)
      BTN: $5.66 (94.3 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is CO with J Q
      Hero raises to $0.18, BTN folds, SB calls $0.15, BB calls $0.12

      Flop: ($0.54) 8 J 6 (3 players)
      SB bets $0.27, BB calls $0.27, Hero calls $0.27

      Turn: ($1.35) 4 (3 players)
      SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.85, SB calls $0.85, BB folds

      River: ($3.05) Q (2 players)
      SB bets $5.42 and is all-in, Hero calls $5.18

      Results:
      $13.41 pot ($0.67 rake)
      Final Board: 8 J 6 4 Q
      SB showed 4 A and won $12.74 ($6.26 net)
      Hero showed J Q and lost (-$6.48 net)

      Like it was so obvious and I knew I should fold, but still I called.X( (Later noticed that in this level almost every river bet is value)

      Another thing, I think my preflop game is going to ok, but my post flop game is sometimes disaster. Imo I play sometimes good IP but my in OOP I don't have clue what to do. My fold to flop c-bet is 41,5% is this ok or should I fold more?

      See you again soon!

      It’s for me no problem if you don’t update your blog daily, but than you don’t reach your goal :f_wink:
      At least your posting also hands on our discussion boards. So that can help you to improve your post flop game. Also following the No Limit Beginners course with confidant91 is smart to do. There you can learn a lot from it I think.

      Cheers,

      Looks like you failed to update your blog daily.
      What’s the reason for that or you need some motivation :fouet:
