I am wondering how deep we can defense our BB when we are so shallow, if we think that 3bet-AI is not a option.

Do we really have to call that wide? I understand that we have such a nice price to call, but from other side we are OOP vs a player and we don't have such a nice implied oods.

how you think guys i worth to def with this range or just call hands which they play well post flop like QJs, KTs etc.?

Someone more experience can say how is about defending blinds, especially flat call when shallow?

I think it depends a lot how aggressive our villain in the hand is how wide I would defend against a CO open in the BB. Against someone that only raised 7% of the hands so far I would fold most of my hands included 76s, because his range is way to tight. Against this type of player I would defend most suited broadways that I’m not 3 betting with and approximately ATo-AQo and KQo and mid pocket pairs like 66-99. The better hands I would 3 bet like TT+, AKo and AQs+ against him and stack off as well if he pushed.

Against a random player I would play a little bit looser in BB for 25bb effective, but most of the time only with more suited connectors like 76s, but 76s would be the bottom of my defending range, because they still play well against a shallow stack.

KTs and QJs I would always defend against all type of players.

Hopefully helps this a little bit, but if you have some questions after my post don’t hesitate to ask them.

      Best regards,
