Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.62 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with A:spade: , K:spade:
Hero raises to $0.40, MP1 calls $0.40, 4 folds, SB calls $0.35, BB calls $0.30.

My thought was that he was betting with Overcards or a Small Pair, was I wrong to make this shove?

SB bets $0.60, BB folds, Hero raises to $1.15 (All-In), MP1 folds, SB calls $0.55.

      Turn: ($3.90) A:club:
      River: ($3.90) 9:diamond: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $3.90

      Hello PidKoker,

      Welcome

As played postflop, you have 9 outs for the Flushdraw + 5 more or less for the overcards. However I discount 1 for the Paired board so you get 14 outs.

Since that exceeds the 12-outs=monster-border, you should go all-in on this board because with 12+ outs, play the hand as though it is a made hand.

      Well played
