      so is raise/fold more appropriate?!?
      and if he limps my raise what do I do on the turn?

      Hello NRGBlaze,

      A Bet/Fold is representing an Ace more than a check because you actively bet as you should. he only can call/raise you with an Ace. If you check, he can suspect you got nothing so he bets with nothing.

      But when he bets, you never ever know that he has an ace unless you call but most of the times he has the Ace and you lose ( a lot of) money in the long run. therefore it is either check/fold (not recommended) or Bet/Fold.

      If he calls your raise you play check/fold on the Turn as well
