      Hello everyone!

I'm Sigil from Russian community, also known as knelse on many of the poker rooms (might have even played with you that is).

      Background:
Andrey, 25 years old, have a beard and a fiancee, am a nerd (mostly computer games, but tabletops also).

      My poker story

I started playing poker in 2008 using the short-stack strategy, grinded my way to NL$1k at some point, but had kinda little discipline, so quickly dropped to rakebacking on NL $100 – NL $200. At the same time I was moving between Russia and Israel and trying to decide where to (and if to, tbh) to study. Finally, as it often happens, everything ended in a shitstorm. I stopped playing poker as my main income around 2013, invested money in a web-studio, decided on the country I really wanna live in, and ready to roll again!

      Why I want to join?

First of all, to prove myself I’m still capable of winning in poker. Secondly (with the same weight) – for money, ofc, as we’re in trouble regarding USD conversion rate in Russia, and I wanna to be on the best side of the dildo (one might say all sides of dildo are the best, but let’s skip that part for now).

      Current goal

I'm going to make EUR 60k in my first year of playing HU Cash. I've got some experience in HU (mostly while playing CAPs and Spin-n-Goes), but will need to learn a whole lot to succeed :)

Finally done with all the formal stuff and started playing.
Hit stoploss (3BI) for today. Most of the loss is on PStars, where my $125 bankroll just ended, ’cause I got drowned in action and made some horrible mistakes.

Problem: hard to play 4+ HU tables at once, especially on different sites with different layouts, time to act, etc.

      Installed Stack&Tile, hope that helps.

      Thanks!

Yesterday I almost finished the day around zero, but got TT < JJ preflop, AK < KK preflop and straight vs higher straight on turn – so, stoploss again. Made mistakes too, but there’re nowhere as horrible as yesterday. Overall I’d say it was a nice day, I begin to understand what’s going on.

My first profitable day playing HU ever, woohoo!

I’m improving in the amount of mistakes too, today it’s 1 questionable play for 120bb vs mega aggro guy and 2 or 3 for 20-30bb.

Another fine day! I’ve tilted a little in the middle of the session when I had bad runouts on 4 different tables at once, but I was able to control myself and finish the day in good shape.

I’ve bought *one non-PS site* converter from *some guys that make converters*, hope it’ll arrive tomorrow and I’ll be able to add winnings there to my PT4 graphs.

Real result is around +85 EUR, PT4 omits hands :f_frown:

Yay cool day! Made some mistakes though, could have saved at least 2 BI. Playing only vs limping guys seems to do the trick :)

Kinda strange day. One of sites makes me go into monkey tilt with their soft, I need to do something with it. Every time their pop-up “Hey let’s go play some tournament” shows I wanna murder all of them brutally >_<
Won like 90 EUR or something.

Was ill for a couple of days, starting to play again.

Time to make first week review! Youtube video tomorrow, but the real stuff goes now.

      Graph:

With RB and stuff I’m now at 617 EUR / 60000 EUR.

      Biggest pot won:

      SB: 202.52 BB (VPIP: 86.89, PFR: 67.21, 3Bet Preflop: 50.00, Hands: 70)
      Hero (BB): 193.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has :As: :Ac:

SB raises to 4 BB, Hero raises to 15 BB, SB raises to 26 BB, Hero raises to 74 BB, SB calls 48 BB

      Flop: (148 BB, 2 players) :8d: :3d: :Ad:
Hero bets 119.5 BB, SB calls 119.5 BB

      Turn: (387 BB, 2 players) :7c:

      River: (387 BB, 2 players) :9s:

      Biggest pot lost:

      Hero (SB): 184.16 BB
      BB: 144.72 BB (VPIP: 78.00, PFR: 36.92, 3Bet Preflop: 19.34, Hands: 676)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has :Kd: :As:

Hero raises to 2 BB, BB raises to 6 BB, Hero raises to 20 BB, BB calls 14 BB

Flop: (40 BB, 2 players) :7h: :Kc: :Tc:
BB checks, Hero bets 30 BB, BB raises to 124.72 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 93.72 BB

Turn: (287.44 BB, 2 players) :Ad:

River: (287.44 BB, 2 players) :Th:

      What I improved already:
      1. Much less mistakes and misclicks
      2. Don’t play regs and semi-regs any more
      3. Volume is getting nice again after I was really sleepy and/or ill for 2 days and was just mindlessly doing EV calculations for like 8 hours. Around 45 or 50 hours of game time, I think (PT4 shows 60 but that’s lies).
      4. I don’t fear guys on PStars that much any more. When I started I was just super afraid if someone who sits at my table and not limps for 5 hands :)
      5. Standard and semi-standard spots. I don’t need looking into the notes I made each 2 seconds.

      What needs to be improved:
      1. Volume. Going for 10h/day minimum to hit 250h/month in September.
      2. Spewy spots. They’re bad river calls mostly, I just burned 300 EUR maybe.
      3. Villain selection. I’m already quitting some guys after like 6-7 hands ’cause they do serious stuff, but I need to do that systematically – sometimes it’s just too tempting to wait 10 hands more and see if they’re really that good or just pushing random buttons worked once.
      4. Schedule. For now I haven’t got any, so even dashboard tells me my yesterday wasn’t finished when I try to submit new day’s results :D

Another nice day, around 250 EUR in profits. Moving to sites with better RB, hope it helps do things faster :)

Strange week. Had problems with computer that took me almost 3 days to figure out and (hopefully) fix, so it's only 45 hours instead of 60+. Month at 85h atm, need to put more volume in.
      Weekly review incoming :)
Aside from PKR and one other site I made a whopping 0.65 EUR/hour :f_ugly:

Duh, who needs weekly reviews when it's 500 EUR profit day :f_drink:

+7 BI versus one guy, my record IIRC.

It could have been a best day...

      If only PKR was better.

And one other site too (in GEL actually)

Yep, I'm going to come for a longer period next year (this summer I spent close to 2 weeks there) - and then I'll decide if I'm going to stay :)

I really liked Rio district, especially Friburgo. Also planning to visit as much of the country as I'll be able to just 'cause it's so different from here :f_grin:
