      Hi,
So i wanna refer someone, but they don't want to have an ID check.
Is that alright, as long as they deposit themselves?
As in, i refer them for TAF money, but they don't take the $50, but instead they just deposit + earn strategypoints.

Or is the ID check also just for pokerstrategy accounts in general?

      Hi Sai7,

Yes, any player signing up has 2 options: either take the quiz and receive starting capital (might be ID checks) or use the first deposit bonuses from the home page.

If he uses the first deposit route he will not have an ID check - but you will still receive TAF money for his earned strategy points - he just needs to be signed up over your referral link :)

      Best regards

Wow, thanks for the instant response :P

You said there might be ID checks, not everyone is checked?
Is it possible to try to go for starting capital, and then if that fails to still use that account for first deposit?
Also (if he does not get checked), can he still get a first deposit bonus if he receives capital?

Well the ID checks are random - so yes there is the chance that he doesn't receive one. The problem with the - later on simply deciding to first deposit is that he will have created the account with the PS150 bonus code - while the PSVIP code is the one we use for first deposits.

On some sites like Mansion it doesn't matter since you can receive both starting capital + first deposit. On PokerStars - half of the starting capital is also a first deposit bonus - so that shouldn't matter either. For Full Tilt it might be problematic, and at Pacific probably as well.

Since he can be tracked over an unlimited amount of rooms using the first deposit codes he could of course try to receive the starting capital at e.g. Mansion or Stars, and if he receives an ID check, either deposit there- or at any other site of his choice.

      Best regards

Hello, back with more questions ;)

Well the person i wanna refer might accept an ID check.
If he takes the 50+100 starting bonus at stars, can he still make a deposit?
Basically what im asking is if by passing an ID check would he gain an extra $50 + the same $100 bonus he'd get if he deposited, so it would work out as an extra $50 due to the starting capital from Pokerstrategy?

      Thanks again~

      Hi Sai7,

There is actually no $50+$100 automatic bonus at PokerStars. The bonus there is $50 and a 100% up to $100 first deposit bonus. So the only way for him to actually receive the $100 bonus money would be to deposit. In short the answer to your question is: Yes.

      :)

      Best regards
