      Hi there,

Playing poker for real money for little of half a year now. Not realy successful yet but still learning.

Having upped my 1000 in playmoney to 1.700.000 I thought I was ready for the real deal. How wrong could I have been thinking it would be easy.

The articles here help out, but reading some books on the side to make me understand it a bit more.

Maybe I'll catch some of you at the tables.

Hi bassboy & welcome to PokerStrategy.

Big respect to you for your honest and realistic post, been in that situation myself before, always ran at a small real money loss before joining this site.

Jury is still out on whether they have turned me into a poker player yet lol as only joined in October myself, but already happier with play.

Make full use of the excellent strategy guides, videos, live coaching etc. It's surprising how many small leaks there can be in a game (mine was like a sieve lol) :D

Good to have you on board, look forward to seeing you in the forums & at the tables soon.
