OK; my question here is should I have been in this hand at all? Obviously I got lucky but would it have been more correct to fold preflop to the raise?
Thank you everybody who's been replying to my posted hands :) It helps improvement a lot.

actually, NEVER PLAY J9s in sss (i may play it with 6+limpers or something lol)

id push on the flop, to avoid THAT  in the turn coming.

Yup, just fold hands like J9, actually all the hands that aren't in SHC.

Besides, there's no calling with SSS. ;)

      Hello JakeAlmighty,

Is J9s on the Starting Hands Chart? No! therefore Fold Fold Fold this one! As a shortstack player, you only play around 8% of all your hands, the rest is fold fold fold!.

[Edit] Even more sinful, you play with a 50bb stack, you should either play Shortstack (20bb stack) or Bigstack (100bb) no inbetween ;)

As played postflop, go All-in To protect your hand against any !

I urge you to read the articles again like http://www.pokerstrategy.com/strategy/no-limit/822/3/#h1_3

      Best regards,
