      Hello guys,

My name is Andrea, i’m based in Italy (which heavily restricts the poker rooms i can play at), i started playing poker years ago and just simply fell in love with this game which is one of those “minutes to learn and lifetime to master” things.

Of course just like pretty much anybody else I started at the micros and I’ve been a huge huge loser , progressively over time with the help of the gazillion online resources available (books, videos etc.) I became a winner with a mind blowing hourly rate of +0.74€/h (Yes, ZERO comma SEVENTYFOUR) over 200k hands…

As you can imagine, a less-than-1-euro-an-hour rate is not exactly what i had in mind when i first started… I’m basically disappointed at myself for not being able to skyrocket up the micros

I finally decided to get coaching after years of playing, I started last week and I’ll be posting weekly updates if anyone is interested.

Ok guys, first update after the first week if somebody is interested

Played about 10k hands, can’t do much more in terms of volume, I’m also working.

I’m really satisfied with the program, the results and my effort, I’m really trying to follow it 100% (doing daily training in equity calcs and everything else).

10k hands is not a big enough sample, i know, but NEVER in my life i crushed like this (WR is 14.1bb/100 NL2) and it would seem to me like too much of a coincidence to hit a random upswing on week 1 of changing my game completely…

Note: My hourly rate IS 300% of what it was at NL5 !!!

Another great week, I’m very happy, the winrate is a little worse this week but still amazing compared to my previous results (12.44bb/100 this week).

      I played 8100 hands
I’m doing daily equity calculations, taking notes and studying the materials given to me

      What can i say… coaching is just working… it’s beautiful :)

I kept doing exactly what i did last week for another ~8200 hands

5 extra hours this week of watching video materials and the best win rate I’ve ever had since starting (23.06bb/100)

Unfortunately I only played 5316 hands because of work…

      @Malendes: Thanks :)

Up-and-down week, ran badly at NL2 but still had a decent WR.

Finally moved up to NL5 and broke even over 2k hands, we’ll see :)

I played almost 20k hands this week, I also played for 6k hands @NL5 but as you can see from the graph it didn’t go well so i moved down again and started grinding again

I’m studying a lot of videos and taking notes and in a couple of days I’ll stab NL5 again

I’ve been sick this week so I couldn’t play a lot (7343 hands)
I moved up to NL5 again and it went ok this time :)

Hi Andrea, nice graphs !!! Who is your coach ? I play from Spain they also restrict the poker rooms i can play at. There is enough trafic on .IT ?
      Have a nice week !

@AgapieGheorghe: In italy pokerstars.it has great traffic and the sum of every other poker room on every other network doesn't even add up to what pokerstars has. So on pokerstars the traffic is great and on every other room it sucks (like 3-4 open tables)

Fun week :) I worked a lot on refining my game and fixing a few issues, it all finally paid off at the end
      I’m very happy

Bad week, still won money because of VIP rebates, but I’m not satisfied at all

I’ll study more and come back stronger!

Another less-than-good week. I’ll move back down just in case.

I still feel like I’m improving though
