6 folds, Hero raises to $0,40, BB calls $0,30.

My river bet was pretty stupid I think.

Could I have 2nd barreled on the turn and folded river to a bet though?

When he checks behind the turn you can fire on the river. He may fold better hands (busted FD, overcards).
If he is floating a lot you can 2nd barrel, but if he is not making moves I can not think with what he is folding that turn and calling the flop.

      Best regards,

Once you check turn, then give up on the river.
It makes a lot more sence if you´d bet turn (for fold equity and also if you hit your draw then you can bet river for value).
