      Hey everyone,

My name is Miles, I am 22 and addicted to poker. I'm from Vancouver, British Columbia and you will often find me in the poker rooms at Edgewater or Cascades Casinos. I've been on pokerstars for 4 years, and signed up with partypoker after I took the quiz here (which is a terrible site)
I'm here to absorb information and talk some poker.

      Hey Miles,

      nice to have you aboard!

What exactly don't you like about PartyPoker?
Well, I can think one gets very used to a site after 4 years, so that alone should explain it ;)

Make sure you get the most out of our site by viewing videos, listening to coachings, reading articles and of course actively using our discussion boards - especially our hand jugdement boards are extremely valuable, as our coaches help you individually there by discussiong your critical hands.

Hi Miles, welcome to the extended family that is PokerStrategy.

We talk a lot of poker here, so you should feel right at home :)

If you check out the International Meeting Place thread and community pages, you will also bump into fellow Canadians, but tbh, every Nation on here is united as one with a great spirit amongst us all.

Good to see you, wishing you every success.

Good to see another Canadian out here, I'm still pretty new here but welcome.

While I don't have an account at Party, my wife plays there and I sort of know what you mean it is a pretty bad site overall but the low limit cash players are just so terrible that it seems to be worth while playing there anyway.

As I have been on a quest bonus whoring I have played at a lot of sites but don't think I can give you a brief review as some of them are not "pokerstrategy approved".

      Good luck on the tables.

      Welcome aboard!

I'm from Burnaby myself, but I don't really get out to play at the casinos that much... yet.

As you've probably seen, there's plenty of good stuff here. See you around!

sorry for the lengthy response time
I'm a big fan of tournies and SnGs and I find that PartyPoker designs their structures poorly for anyone that is a tight player. You don't have enough time to establish the image as a tight player before your chip stack becomes worthless.
Also because of this, you see looser calls and more crappy suckouts.
I started with $75 on PP and I've pretty much lost it all because of the 3minute blind structure for anything smaller than $6 which I've chosen not to play due to BRM

I played on Full Tilt for a little bit a couple years ago before I really knew what I was doing. And now, for some reason, my computer won't allow me to connect to anything but pokerstars so that's all I have played. Any of the iPoker sites come up with an error message. Sites like Party Poker and Full Tilt just stay on the screen saying "Trying to connect"
I played party poker through their website on their browser since I needed to sign up somewhere to get my $50
