      raise more on the flop, lets say $3-$4

      turn, you could check behind.

      and if he makes decent, smallish bet on river you might call.

      His line is just really fishy. I'd bet more on flop, to about $3 and about $7 on turn, that way you'll have good odds on river to call his shove.

      I like this line.

      If he calls a decent raise he might have you beat, hence check behind on the turn for pot control.
