      Hi Guys,

I have received my $50 Deposit into my Pokerstars account.

I have played 3 SNG tourneys so far and finished 7th, 2nd, 3rd. Putting my account upto $53+

Now my question is... I can withdraw the winnings from the account (anything over $50) but I noticed when I signed up that it said something about FPP to be able to withdraw.

      What is that about?
And how many FPP's would I need to withdraw?

      Thanks in advance guys.

      Hi Screwloose,

I can confirm that you are free to withdraw your winnings (any amount which is above the starting capital) at anytime you wish.

      Hi Screwloose,

You do not lose the $50 free bankroll if you withdraw your winnings. Once you have accumulated 500 FPPs, the $50 is yours and you can withdraw it. If you fail to collect the required amount of points within 90 days, $50 (or what left) will be removed from your account.

      500FPPS over 90days?
      2FPPS for each $3 + $0.40

So i need to play 250SNG's
Think thats quite a challenge to be fair, but I don't want to set up the levels yet as I feel the players there would be far greater than what I am.

Any advice on achieving this guys?

      Hi Screwloose,

the only way to earn them fast is to play higher limits or more tables. But please make sure to stick to the bankroll management when you do.

      Best regards,

Thanks, i'll stick to $3 + $0.40 tables at the moment.

      Currently I have played 8 Tourneys finishing, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 6th, 8th. Putting me up to about $70
(I played a few hands on NL 0.02/0.05 and lost a few $'s.)

      Another question if I may.

I need to get 500FPPs, If I use the ones I have gained so far will that mean I have to get those FPP's again or do you count them ones gained rather than current total?

You can use your points for anything without effecting your poker strategy points.
It will only effect your FPP balance, nothing else so no you won't have to regain.

I think you should really stick to BRM ;) $3.4 SNGs are above your bankroll according to this article: How to follow your path: the bankroll management. You should have at least $100 to play them...

Even though i'm up at the moment?
      If I drop below the $50 i'll play the $1 + $0.20
I'm at $82.80 currently, and im in the money 80% of the time at $3 + $0.40.

      Yesterday: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 6th, 8th.

      Today: 1st, 1st, 2nd.

Might just be beginners luck though lol.

It doesn't have to be luck.. it's just upswing and there's always downswing after each upswing ;) I don't think it's possible to be 80% ITM in the long run, so you're running hot... Be careful!

It's up to you how use use your bankroll; I just told you my opinion, because BRM is inviolable for me ;)

      Whatever you do: Good luck!

After my bragging yesterday I lost 2 tourneys on the trot.

However I have just finished 2nd and 2nd again.

Is there a tracker you can use with tourneys?

I have been on quite a losing streak 6 tourneys without payout!
I'm getting called by low pockets and they hit them every time.

My BR has gone from $100 - $80 within a day.
Quite disheartening to be honest I was doing so well.

      Any advice guys?

Stick to the articles and BRM and don't focus on short term results as they say nothing about your true (longterm) results.

Just plow through it then.... play a tight game and know when to raise and fold.

Fingers crossed the results start coming again!

      Hi Screwloose,

I would also suggest downloading the ICM trainers from our download section to practice your lategame strategy.

You will see as you progress and get better that it is very easy to play multiple SNG tournaments at the same time on PokerStars since you are essentially playing very tight in the early phases. Once you are good enough to multitable it will be no problem to clear the 500 FPP

Best regards and good luck at the tables,
      SoyCD
