if you have a laptop, you might not have a prntscrn button, but it will be written in blue on the sae key that says insert, in that case search for a key that says fn and hold it together with insert instead of pressing regular prntscrn

Also you may wanna look into this free little program that I use since it allows you to take full screen picture, active window picture and custom area picture. Very convenient - "HoverSnap v0.8" here : http://www.hoverdesk.net/dl/en/HoverSnap_v08.zip - It's only 600KB and no installation needed.
