I'm very confused in this hand ... I tried to check-call to control the size of the pot then I realized on turn the pot was too big  , I guess bet/fold flop would be better.

      Known players:

      0,1/0,25 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:spade: , A:diamond:
2 folds, CO raises to $0,75, BU folds, Hero raises to $3,00, BB folds, CO calls $2,25.

      Flop: ($6,25) 8:club: , A:club: , 7:spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $2,50, Hero calls $2,50.

      Turn: ($11,25) 6:spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $11,25, Hero raises to $20,00 (All-In), CO calls $8,75.

      River: ($51,25) 7:club: (1 players)

      Final Pot: $51,25

Once you 3-bet with AJ, you´re going to play for stack if you hit tp.
If you´re not going to play for stacks then I´d suggest that you don´t 3-bet pf, but rather coldcall and play postflop.
On that board I´m going to bet/shove with my hand, since he mostly has here draw, rather than better hand than mine.
c/c line is interesting, but since you c-bet here with any hand that you 3-bet pf I don´t see why not c-bet with top pair.
c/rai is good line to take. Other option is c/f and although board is drawy and he could have here set or two pair or straight I would still go with my hand.
