you should be happy that you didnt lose everything...

i have been in your situation and try installing a pokr software like elephant to check if you have some leaks...

i am in the same boat as you are right now... i am so far down and am checking where and what am doing wrong..

i even have SHC posted beside me for conultation...

sometimes you just run a series of bad beats no matter how hard you follow the SHC... especially if you meet some who will play with some hands you wont think of them having and losing your big pockets to it...

just keep the faith... go down the limits if there is something lower...

like i played NL5 in partypoker for sometime just to regain my lost BRM... nd my confidence...

Have faith LP, I was in exactly the same situation as you, took ages to get through NL10 (partly due to excessive rake, partly poor quality of other players), but have now passed not only NL10, but NL25 too.

Started NL50 yesterday with well in excess of the standard buyin requirement. Playing with a very nice buffer now.

      You'll make it.

The most important thing is for you to be able to review your game. It`s very common to find leaks in our game in the middle of downswings, especially while we are in the beginning. So use Elephant for that study and post your hands on forums, read articles etc.

I just moved up to Nl25 and had a terrible downswing, I lost half of my $200 stack in less than 6000 hands. the bad beats were incredible, even amusing. I had the opportunity of losing Full Houses to Quads, more than once, top pairs, two-pairs and trips to ridiculous straights and flushes, and my AA and KK would never get called! (the couple of times somebody actually called them I got another badbeat!). I reviewd my game, improved it as much as I could and kept playing as attentively as possible. Yesterday I had my first positive session, 1 BI up, what a relief.

So all I can tell you is have faith, for the laws of probability will work themselves out someitme soon. Make sure you are playing well though!

      Best regards.
