Hey guys! This is my first blog on PS. I started it for the sake of the "Get Rich or Die Trying" challenge. The main
goal by participating in this challenge is to get additional motivation.
The main game i play is cash NLH. I started at 4NL.The current level i play is 25NL.Starting bankroll for the day i opted
in for the challenge is 2175€. Goal 11000€. Unfortunately i will not be able to provide a deep analysis of the hands
and winning graphs, because the site i currently play on doesn't track hands. But i will try to make some reports and
      screenshots. Let's start!

      Hi xdimax,

welcome into our challenge! ...and also welcome to my former home limit, NL25 - but that was years ago.

      So, now subscribing for:
      [x] weekly BR challenge updates
      [x] screenshots of exciting hands
      [x] MS-Paint graphs :-)
      [x] maybe funny offtopic?

Hi SvenBe, thanks for the welcome. MS-Paint graphs from the cheklist thats a very good idea :f_tongue:

So the first day of the challenge was not that bad as i expected, because the first day MUST be the worst :f_grin:
Though there were big losses too.

      One of the hands...
The opponent opened previously all his hands with a limp, did many cold calls and almost never folded the flop.
I'm not the guy, who pushes w. AA ever flop, turn and river with closed eyes, but i couldn't find a fold on such
uncoordinated board against this kind of an opponent. Could you?

"AK holds" is probably a bit misleading. You actually need to hit and JJ/99 does not have to hold...

In terms of chances to win the hand:

             Equity     Win     Tie
      MP2    36.47%  36.36%   0.11% { AKo }
      MP3    45.64%  45.53%   0.11% { JJ }
      CO     17.89%  17.78%   0.11% { 99 }

so, don't be soooo happy to go All In with AK all the time...

Thank you very much for commenting my hand. Well, i didn't have the intention to get all-in preflop deep-stacked verses the hole table.
The screenshots of the hands are really hard to read (the position in not very clear). Unfortunatley i can't export or copy them to put it into replayer or convert it to some other hands-format.
So i'll try to explain my decision of pushing w AK...

      UTG(25€)(9h9d) raises to 0.75€
BU(Hero)(53,24€)(KhAd) calls 0.75€ - vs unknown UTG i mostly cold call w. AKo
      SB(35.70€)(JcJs) makes squeez to 3.55€
      BB(7.10€) calls 3.30€
      UTG calls 2.80€
      Pot: 11.4€ (45,5BB)
      Hero ?

      So what do we have.
UTG calls the SB's squeez. So what is in his range?
KQs,AJ,AQ, 55 - TT. So our preflop equity vs. his range w AKo is 56.76%.
BB calls 3.30€ with a stack of 7.10€. I would say a random fish with any two.
SB is unkonwn player. We are a bit underdog verses his range if he is a solid reg.
But if he would actually be a good reg he would never call 128,6BB all-in with
      something worth than KK,AA.

So by pushing with AK my intention was in the best case just to collect 45,5BB dead money.
In the worst case to be heads up vs. SB.
To fold with AK would be a very weak play, same as to call and to play postflop in 3 bet pot multyway vs. 3 other opponents.
So i think my push with AK is not such a big mistake as to call all-in 128,6BB w JJ or 87,8BB w 99. I wasn't really happy facing
two callers to my push, but surprisingly the outcome was not so bad for me.

The start of the second week was really bad. But i have been already running bad for a couple of days. Couldn't win a single showdown and made mistakes.
So i decided to reduce the playing hours and to study poker instead. At the end of the day the work got paid and now it is a new career peak :f_drink:

      Week 3 Summary

The worst week of the challenge till now and for about 3 month in genearal, but i'm pretty satisfied with my game. The most loses are preflop all-ins with hands like KK vs QQ, AA vs 79o and AA vs AKo or all-ins on the flop with nuts, but i have no influence on it...just running bad. Had also issues with my internet provider.I was disconnected from the internet during the hot session for many hours and approx. 40BB invested into the pot at that time have been vanished into nirvana. But i can't complain. Some guy whith the same internet provider said he was playing a tourney on the final table with a big buy-in as he was disconnected. Ouch. IT services made in Germany. So for this week i will try to handle the down-swing and enjoy the good weather :f_pleased:

      Week 4 Summary

Pretty good week after 3 weeks of downswing. I planed to start September with moving up to 50NL, but i will take my time and first try to recover from August's bad run.

      Starting Bankroll:

      Current Bankroll:

      Hands approx.: 5500
      Week 4 Profit: 363,09€ (163,09€ 25NL, 60€ tournies+SNGs, 140€ rakeback)
      Overall Profit: 427,18€
      Goal: 11000€

Hey guys, sorry for the format of the hand, but i can't convert it to txt or xml. So here is the hand.

      Some remarks first.
      [25NL]
      Hero is SB(27,48€)
      Villain is BB(41,36€)

Villain is unknown. No stats or notes.

Preflop: Villain was 3-betting my SB raise 3 orbits in a row, so i decided to bluff 4-bet w Jc9c. He calls.
      Pot: 9,18€

Flop (AsThTs) I decide to check/fold, because the big part of his calling range are broadway Aces or broadway Tx hands, but....he checks back. Now i can exclude almost all Ax in his calling range.Tx also rarely
check back on this board.Underpairs and some random flush draws would call there.

Turn: (AsThTs2d) On the blank turn I decide to make a delayed continuation bet for half of the pot.I think it's ok, because my value 4bet range would contain AA, AK, KK, QQ that i can check on the flop. Villain calls.
      Pot: 18,66€

      River: (AsThTs2dQc) Hero?
My plan was to barrel turn and river. But Q is the worst hand that could come on the river. Should i continue bluffing? If yes wich sizing. Or just give up?
