Hi! My name is Marouane, and I am here because I want to learn and start playing poker.
I have a room mate that spends a lot of time playing poker and earning a living playing midstakes. He gave me a tips to start using PokerStrategy. Now I ask you guys, what is the best game to start playing and why? Is it a good idea to learn Omaha only or do i have to learn texas first and than jump in omaha.
Give an advice to this wild kid :D it seems like i jump in a deep ocean :D

      Hello and welcome!

I would advise to start out with the lowest stakes 9 man cash Holdem to learn a tight solid and aggressive game, to learn table and seat selection, exploitation of the weaker players and multitabling.

Then you can jump into the tournament or omaha madness. Not that cash holdem is unbeatable but with soft games like micro MTT or PLO there isnt that much point in continuing with cash holdem.

      Good luck :f_drink:
