Very fishy table on Cake. No stats.

      $0.05/$0.1 No Limit Holdem
      10 players
      Converted at

      UTG ($13.00)
      UTG+1 ($13.05)
      UTG+2 ($10.00)
      MP1 ($12.45)
      MP2 ($0.88)
      MP3 ($7.93)
      Hero (CO) ($20.26)
      BTN ($8.55)
      SB ($3.80)
      BB ($5.77)

      Pre-flop: ($0.15, 10 players) Hero is CO J:heart: T:heart:
      3 folds, MP1 raises to $0.20, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.20, Hero calls $0.20, 1 fold, SB calls $0.15, 1 fold

      Flop: 3:heart: T:club: 4:heart: ($0.90, 4 players)
      SB bets $0.20, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.20, Hero raises to $0.80, SB raises to $1.75, MP3 goes all-in $7.73, $6.93 to Hero ($19.26)?

      1. I figured the implied odds here were too good to fold preflop. Should I have raised?

      2. What should I do on the flop as played? I think it's pretty much an instacall if MP3 hadn't gotten involved, but now that he's shoved as well it puts me in a tricky spot.

I'd fold pre-flop. If there was another cold caller, I might have called.

You can shove on the flop. You've got good equity and the pot will be nice, especially if the SB joins in and he probably will.

You'll hit your flush a good 40% of the time down to the river and take the pot.
You still have outs for 2 pair or trips, but I'm not counting those because you could be facing a set already.

But generally, this is a +EV move, especially on a fishy table like you said =)

I would call preflop, odds are good and you can win big if you hit.

On the flop I probably fold to an mp3's shove, but if he just calls I come over the top and shove myself. With such a draw I want to use my fold equity to the maximum and you have none after mp3 shoves.

Wonder what the judge will say.

I also call preflop. On the flop I raise bigger and get it in, no matter who is raising. If you don't want to go broke on the flop you should just call.

      Best regards,
