      Did I play it too passively? Is raising on this flop a good option?

      It's ok to play it like that, but you're gonna have to fold very often when an overcard shows up.

      When I'm with a small overpair against pre-flop aggressor, I usually see it as playing with a strong hand such as TP/TK on a drawy board. I have to protect. It's very likely that the pre-flop agressor has at least 6outs againt your pocket 8's.

      I like the line c/r on the flop. If called, I probably fire again on the turn, depending on the card that shows up.

      But, he'll fold most of the times on such a flop, unless he has an overpair. But if he does have an overpair, you'll easily find out ;)

      Flop: Ye, I would also check/raise here. (to a 3bet I fold)
      Turn: Revalue if he called, I would play check/fold from now on.

      I like your line since hes aggressive and he might be stealing lightly. If he has OP you keep pot small and can prob fold river after 3 barrels, or call small river bet.
