      PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      saw flop | saw showdown

      MP ($7.55)
      Hero (Button) ($10.50)
      SB ($12.50)
      BB ($16.90)
      UTG ($5.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, SB calls $0.35, 1 fold

      Flop: ($0.90) 9, Q, 9 (2 players)
SB bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50

      Turn: ($1.90) Q (2 players)
SB bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

      River: ($2.50) 9 (2 players)
SB bets $1, Hero raises to $9.30 (All-In), SB calls $8.30

      Total pot: $21.10 | Rake: $1.05

      Results:
Hero had 9, Q (four of a kind, nines).
SB mucked K, K (full house, nines over Kings).
      Outcome: Hero won $20.05

When the river came I said, "wow, lol a full house on the board" before I shoved. He probably would have called regardless of that though.

Nice hand. Are you asking for any specific advice or just showing us this hand?

People post hands where they are wondering to call/raise or fold often. I thoughyt I'd ask how you'd try to extract maximum value., just for a change.

      Flop: Call down.
      Turn: Raise for value.
River: I would shove over him also :)

I know this thread is done and dusted, but I just thought I'd post something that just happened.

Maybe this could be a little 10NL brag/heater thread.

Preflop: Hero is CO with K, K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 1 fold, SB raises to $1.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, SB raises to $13.15 (All-In), Hero calls $7.95 (All-In)

      Total pot: $22 | Rake: $1.10

      Results:

Hero had K, K (four of a kind, Kings).
      Outcome: Hero won $20.90

I raised only 3x because everyone else was passive except the villain who was running at 54 VPIP, 38 PFR, 7 AF, 71 AFq afterabout thirty hands (I know, not much) and I was hoping to isolate, because he didn't seem to have a super great grasp of positional play.

Which in itself explains the preflop call, even though you'd do the same with 95% of opponents or more.
