Nice hand, although I would fold to 1BB bet on the turn, because your kicker is so poor, so you are most likely behind a better A and you don't know what people will do on the river, where you cannot call any normal bet. However, I think the odds you get on the turn justify the call.

Thanks for replies. I have one question though.

You're saying that I had good odds for calling that 1BB bet on turn. However, if I try to calculate the odds I get these numbers:

I have a pair of Aces so I can give myself 2 outs to improve to Set and  3 in my hand so I can give myself 3 outs to improve to two pair. I don't see any other draw possible on turn.

      5 outs in total = 8:1 odds
      Pot odds = 6,5:1

Could you please tell me, what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I said, you have good odds, not good odds to improve. ;)

...meaning, you will improve and/or hold the best hand enough times to make this call profitable. If you look only at the outs to improve your hand, then of course you don't have good enough odds as you calculated yourself.

      Hi Barrelhead,

Only with a three I am content to see, a Triple Ace might be a cooler due your kicker and you surely get outkicked if he has an Ace.
Therefore I just fold, it's not worth it.

      Best regards,
      Gerv
