      Hi people
I sometimes check which pokerstars team pro members are playin right now and I found that Kravchenko is playing funny and odd game - Badugi.
It's probably a new game on Pokerstars b/c i didnt know about it earlier. Have u ever heard about the game? or have u tried it ? I find it really joyfull and try to figure out how to play it.

      Hey daropl,

Yes Badugi has been offered at PokerStars for a few months now. Its a bit different than the 'usual' formats (a type of draw poker) and extremely fishy. I haven't managed to have a losing session there yet :)

I have been playing this a lot lately, most people have no real clue at all what they are doing in this game. It is not uncommon for people to sit at the table and ask you "how do we play this?" I find many of the non holdem games to be even more fishy.

I LOVE BUDAGI!!! But only played play money (8x my roll :D ) ive watched some of the real money games and they look fishy... I'm sure we could develop a TAG budagi strategy.

Do you see the demand Soy? ;)

Well, I play it last 25-30 days after I ran badly in NLHE. I tried something different for fun and I like that kind of fun, hehe. And that won't be good if I NEED to play every day and to not do anything else. At least average salary in my country is $900-$1000 and my daily average is $700 (minus few bucks) but $50/day in Badugi is good too if you count that I'm 100% new to this game. I am not a fish as I used to be 20 days ago but I'm also I'm not a shark (yet). So I'll play it 'til I master it like I did with 7 Card Stud :P
Badugi pro? Sounds good... But Badugi is poker too...

hehe, when I read my post I thought it could easily seem that I was saying that badugi isn't poker. looks like I was right :D I wasn't saying that though :)

Anyway, good luck becoming a shark in Badugi.
