      Hi,

was it ok to push on the flop? I saw FD + 2 OC and acted like if I had a monster draw, but I'm not very sure atm as I had only 1 flush card in my hand and it wasn't an ace.

      Hi,

I'm just getting the hang of playing draws in SSS, so don't take too much notice of me... but I think your push is too risky.

As you say, even if you hit your flush you're not drawing to the nuts and the board looks quite drawy for straights too, which an opponent might already have e.g. if he limped with 9,6o. So that if you do hit your overcards they may well not be enough. All very well for me to say that with hindsight - I probably would have done exactly what you did in the heat of the moment :)

      GL,
      Tim

I don't really like it without the nut FD , a hand like XA-K:club: X has you drawing thin also your overcards are not clean most of the time.

You can never give your self 15 clean outs here for FD + 2 OC's, I'd say it's more like around 9-10, which isn't even a monster draw, so I would fold. I wouldn't even bother playing it passively, because if 4th :club: comes you can never be sure you're ahead with your J high flush.

      Hi barrelhead,

I discount like 4 or 5 outs for your FD and maybe 1 for your Jack in case he has a weird OESD but nevertheless it comes to this: You do not have a monster draw so I like to just call his flopbet and evaluate the turn.

      Best regards,
      Gerv
