      Hi guys,

I start this blog to improve my skill at poker and for fun in the same time. First time I write a blog so be diligent please.

      About me:
I started poker couple years ago, I always love the game. Never crush anything at the table I was more a fish I think. Now I played every Friday with some friend 25$ tournament if you eliminated somebody you take his 5$ so it's 20$ tournament with 5$ bounty every ko lol.

Gameplan: So my gameplan it's gonna be:

Play NL2 till I got 125$ in my bankroll so I can switch to NL 5
After that play NL 5 till a got 500$ to play NL 10
And I'm pretty sure after that I'm gonna stay at NL 10 just for experience I don't want to grind to fast and get crush by everybody lol.

So like I say, I play actually on pokerstar NL 2.
I started with a bankroll of 20$ and Now I'm about 68$ since 3 weeks. I watched the beginner course with confidant91, love that stuff it's awesome.

A bit about me: I'm from Canada, French side and about a 1 year and an half I moved for military posting. That's why I write in English now, I need to learn the langage, so much stuff haha.

Finally I'm gonna try to post 3 time a week so everybody can see my result and post some hand for discussion time to time, I think its pretty much it
      See you on the table!!

Hero bets $0.40, BB calls $0.40

      Results: $1.34 pot ($0.05 rake)

and yes on the river he hits his third jack, I was thinking maybe I can afraid him with the straight but nahhh.. What do you think?

      Hi Trim112.
Forget zoom, play only regular tables. 2,3,4,whats its most confortable for you.
Make a very GOOD table selection!! VERY important!!
On the tables, use the colours to mark the fishes, and try to sit on their left,always...Do not sit on a table where you dont have at least one fish on your rigth.
The target fishes are those who have VPIP > 40. These are your target!
And in the NL2 play just for VALUE!!! Forget bluffs, and other stuff...Have value hand?BET BET BET! Dont have a shit? Ch/Fold!
And you will see your bankroll rise!

You are doing great Trim. Stick to normal tables if that is where you are crushing.

How do you feel when playing? Do you feel like it goes too fast and you don't have time to think? Do you lose your focus quickly?
Moving to regular tables can help. You should play where you feel most comfortable. But if the problems are caused by your strategy, it might not make a big difference.
Zoom is still beatable with a nice winrate, and what I have seen lately is that zoom is weirdly fishy at the moment.

Its just the way it went , perhaps if you checked the Turn or River and allowed villain to make a move you could possibly have realized your mid pair was no good. I think we all suffer from the same disease of too much aggression especially when our holding is not too strong , we think (sub consciously) that we can improve the strength of our weak hands every time with aggressive betting (we lose sight of the fact that we are actually in hindsight Bluffing , I suppose this is a common Leak)
