Just pondering on peoples thoughts on the most long term profitable way to play a your set against a flush draw?

Assuming an oppononent who pays stictly to the maths i tend to play one of 2 ways

      1)

Take down pot on the flop

      2)

GIve the opponent odds to call and see the turn card, then take it down on the turn if no flush or check it down if the turns gives the flush?

whats the best way to play theses long term?

Never give your opponent the correct odds to call on a draw, the whole point of making money off of drawing hands is by giving them incorrect odds to draw.

If you make a big bet n they call and miss, thats where you make your money from, if they hit then at least you played it right, n u can let go of your hand if they show great aggression.

If you make a small bet n they hit their draw then its your own fault for giving them the correct odds to draw with.
