Hello everyone, i`m Talisker74 from the german community.

Due to my biggest leak (mindset) i`m still playing micros.
This blog hopefully helps me to work hard on myself and of course on my game.
Please ignore my writing and grammar mistakes, or feel free to correct me.
It would be nice when improving my english would be a positive side effect writing this blog.

      A short introduction of myself:
I`m kind of recrational player, because of having a full-time job and family...
Poker is my hobby and i love the game, because it helps me to relax after a hard working day.
Even if it is a hobby i want to be a winning player and move up slowly through the limits.
Actual playing 6max nl 5 regular tables (2 to 4 tables).
During the last years i played zoom tables up to nl 16. I guess zoom tiltet me more
than i wanted to accept (even playing C-Game and autopilot). It had some advantages, but i changed to regular tables.
I guess i have got round about 10 hours a week to invest in my hobby: POKER (learning and playing)
Last couples of month i invested too much time in playing and less time in learning.
I will change that and invest more time in learning.

I will post a graph every 10k played hands (so hopefully once a month) and interesting
      hands to discuss.

So i want to use the blog to get some tipps to close my very massive leaks (guess i have
more than i really hope) and especially to improve my mindset.
So every nice tipp how i could improve my mindset, is very welcome.
Which videos to recommend to watch?

      My aims:
Achieving a great mindset! (no tilting - playing my A-Game)
Improving my poker skills to make less mistakes.
=> That will allow me to climp up due to my BRM
      transforming from :f_confused: to :s_thumbsup:

So that is the start of my blog.
Good luck at the tables to everyone is reading here.
I try to answer all comments... but it can last a while

He guys. It is time to post an update.

I used the possibility to take starter package from la55i.
Contact via skype was very easy and answers to questions came very quick.
Because i stopped playing zoom and changed to regular tables there was a
too small sample size for stats analysis, so he suggested to make a longer
video while playing. He analysed my gameplay and made some conclosions and
send me some additional material to improve my gameplay. Big Thank you for that!

The session i played to analysise was mostly to play very smooth without having much trouble spots.
So no really big leaks where detected but some smaller ones, which i wouldn`t havent found on my own.
=> Go and take the smaller price as long it is available to buy some kind of coaching, i guess most players will take advantage...

There are to topics i will work on this month:
      1. Going to my preflop ranges and change them a bit (la55i gave me some good advise how to do).
      2. Mental Game (=> he gave some tipps how to do) and i detected an older video-series from Eric Stanquist which i will
work with this month (first watching the vids, and afterwords going to it step by step while taking notes)

      More during next days.

GL at the tables to all of you

      Hello to all,

      just a small update.

I saw just the first two videos i mentioned before.
I guess the vids can help me with my mental play and i will watch the whole series and create me a warm-up routine...

      Hello guys,

i`m actually playing a session but took a break to post 2 Hands:

      Hand 8:
I guess with hitting a Set on Flop means that I`m happy to get it in...
betsize from Villain (1 table, from Russia no stats or history) bets very, very high
I guess he can bet such high with AA and 77 which beats my set
and on this Limit i guess with AK, AQ, A7 and A6
draws won`t bet such high, maybe he has complete air, but only in 10%
So, was playing for stack a big mistake or quite O.K.

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      Hero (SB): $3.04 (152 bb)
      BB: $2.39 (119.5 bb)
      UTG: $2.06 (103 bb)
      MP: $2.88 (144 bb)
      CO: $3.49 (174.5 bb)
      BTN: $4.95 (247.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with :6c: :6d:
UTG raises to $0.06, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.05, BB folds

      Flop: ($0.14) :6s: :7d: :Ah: (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $1.06, Hero calls $1.06

      Turn: ($2.26) :3s: (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.94 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.94

      River: ($4.14) :Qs: (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results:
      $4.14 pot ($0.14 rake)
      Final Board: :6s: :7d: :Ah: :3s: :Qs:
Hero showed :6c: :6d: and lost (-$2.06 net)
UTG showed :Ad: :Ac: and won $4 ($1.94 net)

      Hand 9:
So any big mistakes in the hand here?
I guess i have to bet the turn, because he must not have the flush and could call with some hands which i beat.
But to the River Donk shove....
i guess on the Limit this would always be the flush, a set or a straight...

      Hello guys,

sorry for writing nothing during the past weeks.
I made a new start of my database, because not only playing new ranges, i although use a new tagging system.
So i deleted my old one`s and started new.

Because of poker is just a hobby, i have only less volume, but i will post a graph every week.
I stay to my chalange to play 25k hands on nl2 to get confident with my new ranges and tagging system.
Even actual i try to improve my mindset and don`t do much other theory stuff...

So here is my nl2 graph so far:

On my way to beat NL2 on a bigger sample
Half of my private challange is finished:

Variance is really big. But my mindset is getting better slowly and i avoid strong tilt during downswing.
Some losing hands have been lost setups and bad beats, but also some really missplayed ones.

A lot of work has to be done to get a little shark.
