      [color:red]SB bets $0,50[/color], Hero calls $0,50.

      Turn: ($2,00) 8:diamond: [color:blue](2 players)[/color]
      SB checks, Hero checks.

      River: ($2,00) 9:club: [color:blue](2 players)[/color]
      [color:red]SB bets $0,25[/color], Hero calls $0,25.

      Final Pot: $2,50

      Wanted to to float ... good or bad idea on this flop?

      I would 3bet preflop over this steal attempt.

      If you are going to float the flop, then you have to bet the turn when he checks. Bet/fold. Actually, I would just fold the flop.

      Well I wanted to float but I paired on turn so float is pretty dumb if i can get the money by checking to river over his bluff as well ...

      Fold flop seems better to me as well now... chance on him c/r me on turn is too high.

      This guy's bets just seem really dumb all along.

      I 3bet pre-flop.

      RR flop or float, it doesn't really make much of a difference. I wouldn't fold on the flop.

      You can even raise river to $1. You'll get value from small PP. I see small PP minbetting 3 streets very very often.

      min-raise mostly doesn´t indicate monsters, so you can 3-bet and take it down a lot of times pf.
      Since you hit your 8 I think check behind is fine, but I´d likely just b/f 2$ and check behind river if called.
