Hi and welcome to my poker journey!
I started to play poker on cash like 1 year ago, but i never took it serious enough, to actually succeed. I started with a 10$ deposit and cashed out around 120$ on Unibet poker. After that i lost rest of my stack there and mooved to PKR, there i deposited in total of around 40$ and cashed out something like 25$, lost -15$ at that site. Then i mooved to pokerstars and lost twice 10$ deposit, so ended up at negative balance over there as well. So i decided to give up on poker and burried my dream.
In past 3 weeks my life has changed quite alot, i lost my job, i broke up with my girlfriend and eventually i have very few cash left, so i tought, what the hell, ill give poker another shot. Before i made a deposit i studied some poker basics. I read a poker book ''Harrington on cash games'' and read some materials found on internet and also watched some videos. So now when i have refreshed the basic knowledge of texas holdem poker, i made a deposit on pokerstars of 25$. So ive been playing for a bit now there and i decided to make blog to keep my self motivated. My goal is to make a stable income every month and at least make poker a part of my income source. Of course my dream is to become a good poker player enough, to make it as my main source of income.
Sorry if i misspelled or sucked at english in general, but im willing to learn haha.

So heres my graph from first few serious poker sessions at pokerstars. Its been quite up and down, but overall i ended up profiting. I did caught my self playing bad in some hands, and also bluffing a bit too much here and there, but i spotted my leaks and i guess i fixed a few of em in my next poker sessions.

      Hey guys!
My first week of my poker journey has concluded. It was quite a fun week, with some nice wins and also some defeats. I analyzed alot of hands, and found quite few spots where i need to improve at. So for the next week i will do some homework and study some poker. This week i havent studied much of poker, bassicly all i did was play at the tables, so now its time for some theory.
I didnt set any goals for this week, so i guess all i did was made some profit at the tables.
Heres the graph of this week:
The profit is a bit higher than shown at graph, because i didnt used HUD in my first few sessions.
      Starting bankroll: : 25$
Hands played: : 6696 (i guess a bit more, since i didnt used HUD at first sessions)
      Bankroll now: 44.99$
      Profit: +19.99$

So the goals for the next week:

        Play 10,000 hands
Improve my BB/100 winrate to 15bb/100
Read some material or watch some videos about post flop play
        Increase my bankroll to 75$

P.S. Thanks guys for supporting me on this challenge, I really do hope i will succed at poker, but I still have a long and hard way to go.

      Update:
Uhh what a day it was. I dropped down all the way to 20$ish and managed to grind my self up. I got tilted after loosing 4 buy ins in a row vs fish players, and it lead to even bigger loss. But the bright side is, i managed to grind my self up, and actually ended up slightly in profit zone. I need to work on my mental game, cause i let other players get into my head after i lost a big pot vs them.
Since i wont be able to play much of a poker tomorrow, i will do some study. Will analyse my todays session, cause i made alot of bad decissions today.
      Starting bankroll: : 25$
      Hands played: : 1591
      Bankroll now: 45.54
      Profit: 0.55$
Im really happy that i managed to end up in profit zone after todays session. i will work really hard this week, to improve my game in long run, cause i know im making alot of bad decissions and plays in general. If im winning, im playing a solid poker, but if i start the session with a loss, i play way to loose which leads to even bigger losses. So i must fix my mental game, before taking another long session.
Heres a really crazy hand of todays session at NL2 table, the pot was 500BB by the river.

      (Equity - Pre-Flop: 30%, Flop: 100%, Turn: 100%, River: 100%)

      BU (Hero) wins $9.84

SB is a really TAG player, had around 500 hand sample on him. I openraised from button after a limp from UTG (very loose fish) so i wanted to isolate SB and BB, the SB 3bets and at this point i wanted to fold, but UTG called so i wanted to see the flop. I nailed the flop completely. All tho i was a bit scared to face a stronger flush, but i just couldnt find the fold button there.

      Bankroll Update:
      Hey guys!
Sorry for not posting yesterday, i was just too tired to make an update of my bankroll after my session. Last 2 days the poker gods were with me haha. Had very few bad beats, and i nailed alot of drawing hands. Overall im pretty happy about my play style since i didnt made too much mistakes. Of course i still made a few, but thoose didnt cost me much.
Also studied a bit of poker matherials find all over the internet, and now im trying to use the new methods every now and then at my tables. Im currently working on developing my own strategy and im planning to stick with it. My thinking process during the hands has improved as well. Im not just playing my two cards, im bassicly playing the opponent. Also my player reading abilites are getting better and better, so i think im heading the right direction so far.
Maybe some one can recommend me some free but good poker e-books? I would rather read a book and taking down my own notes, than searching for alot of messy guides on internet.
Anyways heres how our bankroll looks at this point.
      Starting bankroll: : 25$
      Hands played: : 2743
      Bankroll now: 70.86$ (i would have 80.86$ but i withdrawed 10$ to pay my phone bill:D )
      Profit: 35.32$

Congrats to the results so far!
Do you play Zoom or regular tables?
How often do you use the info from the HUD to have a read on opponents?

      Keep up the good work!

      Thanks mate!
I decided to stick with regular tables, so i can have good reads on opponents. I found zoom as a disadvantage for my self.
Yes i do use HUD, but i dont make my decissions always from HUD stats, sometimes you just have to trust your instincts :)

Yes, I agree. I usually played Zoom so far, but regular tables look better because of the same reasons you mentioned.

Week 2 of my poker journey!
Uhh what a week it was. Managed to get 75$ bankroll at one point and then i dropped down all the way to 18$, cause i took stupid shots at 10$ nl without a propper bankroll. All thought, i played pretty decent at nl10, but got unlucky in few big pots. But anyways i should have sticked with Nl 2 untill i reach around 120$ bankroll, then i could take some shots at nl5. But after i lost 75$ of my bankroll and dropped down to 18$, i played some satelite tournaments and won some 3.30$ and 4.40$ tickets. I did pretty good in theese tournaments and won some decent prizes.
Since i dont have a job and i have some bills to pay, i withdrawed 50$, but i still have 36$ to work with. Ill keep playing some satelites every now and then and also will play some tournaments when i feel to. But the main grind will be on cash games at Nl2.
      Starting bankroll: : 25$
      Hands played: : 7541
      Bankroll now: 36.79 (86.79 - 50$ withdrawal)
      Profit this week: 41.80$

So goals for this week were:
      Play 10,000 hands
Improve my BB/100 winrate to 15bb/100 My winrate is 14.2bb/100
Read some material or watch some videos about post flop play studied some poker materials found over internet about post flop play and pre flop play from UTG and blinds.
Increase my bankroll to 75$ I increased my bankroll to 86.79, but i had to withdraw 50$ for my own needs.

Goals for the next week are:
play 10 000 hands agian, cause i didnt played 10 000 hands this week.

Yea did good in 2 tournaments, thats where all the bankroll came back to me.
Well alot stuff on youtube. I found useful some videos there, that helps me on blind plays and post flop play. Also im looking forward to learn more about bluffing. Cause i take a bit too bad spots sometimes, but i guess bluffing depends on your reads on opponents.

      Hello guys!
First i want to say that i am back on the poker grind and im really sorry for not posting for almost a month.
I was out of town for like a week at my godfather. And then all the xmas crazieness and other things.
I did played some poker during this time, but not much and also i wasnt on winning side as well.
The 2017 ended really shitty for me. I went to skate with my mom and sister and i accidentally falled and broked 2 of my tooths. I can imagine, how much money i will have to spend for dentist....
But now its a new year and it seems to be promising!
Now i am back on track and i will be taking it more serious than before. One of my new years goals are making a poker as a main income source, so im hoping to achieve this goal. Today was my first cash game session this year, and it was pretty good. Im really happy with the results and im also happy about my play style. I started to fold a bit more in spots where i was calling before, and it has improved my winrate. Currently im reading a book ''mental game of poker''. So far i like it alot. This book helps me to deal with lack of motivation.
So heres the graph of todays session at NL2:

My current bankroll right now is at: 37.46$

      Goals for this week are:
      Play 12 000 hands
Analyze every single session i play
Study poker every day for atleast 1 hour.
Spot my biggest leaks and improve them (this one will be the thoughest one)
      Increase my bankroll to 75$

      Hey guys, a quick update!
I managed to get 98$ bankroll and now im planning to play at NL5, since i did pretty good at NL2.
Just took my first shot at NL5 and it went out pretty well. The luck wasnt on my side tho, since i lost with AA twice in pre flop all in, and lost 6$ pot with KK vs QQ, river was a Q.
But i was on my A game, so i crushed the fishes and bad Regs in my first shot. Hopefully i can bring my A game and 2nd shot later tonight as well.
Heres my graph from first shot:
