Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 4:heart: 4:diamond:

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1.5 BB, fold

      Flop: (5 BB, 2 players) 6:diamond: 2:spade: 4:spade:
Hero checks, BTN bets 1 BB, Hero raises to 5 BB, BTN raises to 12.4 BB, Hero raises to 32 BB, BTN raises to 66.4 BB, Hero raises to 105.8 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 39.4 BB

      (Pre 66%, Flop 35%, Turn 23%)
BTN shows 5:diamond: 3:diamond: (Straight, Seven High)
      (Pre 34%, Flop 65%, Turn 77%)
      BTN wins 206.9 BB

In retrospect, I think I should of flatted his 3b on the flop and gone into x/c mode.
I think getting it in is abit of an overplay in this spot, thoughts?

Better you are going to post your hands without the result, otherwise some people will write result oriented....

I guess a set flop is always super strong, and would have done the same.
You have lots of outs to make quads or a boat and villain can overplay some hands as well
      even flush draws or 2pairs....

you beat at least 22, so i wouldn't think too much about it. middle set is too strong, specially in such a board where many players don't have 53s

The betting action does polarize your and his hands so you are deffo up against his toprange but I do think it has enough 2pairs, combodraws (AKs, A6s, A3s) and 22 which we all crush. Big overpairs are unlikely but could be in there. Plus against a str8 we have decent equity. The only hand that absolute crushes us is 66.

x/c wouldn't really have helped you, I believe, money was going in anyway imo. Middle set is just too good to fold in this situation and turn and river are pretty much blanks so they wouldn't have helped you to find a fold either.

I think it is well played. He can stack off with some overpairs, 22, 64, and might do it with some combo draws also. Even if he would have a straight here, you would have 35% equity.
